Do not buy, this product is dangerous and nearly killed me! Instructions offered a link to a video, that was broken. This should have been my first clue to close the box and return it, but I persisted. Only 2 parts had numbers and the rest were difficult to identify The instructions were pictogram and ok to follow until building the box for the mattress. At this point there are two parts on the picture which look identical and have different numbers. One part is a board width larger but the larger piece needs to go at the top for the box where the shelf goes. Solved that mystery and persisted. Followed the instructions to secure the hardware to the wall, or so I thought. I attached the hydraulic pistons and lowered the bed. Heard a creaking and then the next thing I knew, the entire 250 lb bed came crashing down and nearly crushed me. I escaped with some scrapes and bruises, but it was a near miss. The bed broke in numerous places and created a wreck. The hardware provoded is inadequate to secure to the wall, especially drywall alone. If secured to a stud this might be safer. ... show more

Do not buy this item! THe material is crap. We had to reinforce everywear and still wasn't enough. We never got the bed the original date when they said this was delivered. When we finally got it. I wanted to send it back but the dates didnt match when we could leave this item out. We didnt want this stollen. I ended up keeping this. We use the bed once after we finally received it. I wanted to return this item because I already new the materal was junk. Once we put it together we put the bed up the fram instantly broke. the arms flung back. Taking a chunk of skin out of my sons hand and bruising his hand as well. Both my legs are bruised from the fram falling on my legs. Not happy I dont usually put bad reviews up but this is an expensive item and it broke. ... show more

This is the Hulk of junk. I ordered three already and they all came out like garbage and broke it when we assembled them and I can't wait to get rid of them and I'm waiting for them to be picked up. I realized I ordered the same one just now and I'm giving you one last chance to make this right because I've never had such an experience on Amazon. I've ordered three times before and they've come broken and it was a pain in the neck to return. I don't even know if I got the refund I spent over $200,000 a year on Amazon. ... show more

My husband and I joke that this should be called a Murphy's Law bed because everything that could have gone wrong in trying to put it together did. After tearing it all apart and reassembling it several times, and having new parts shipped to us, we finally got it together. A few of the panels arrived chipped, but customer service, offered to replace those as well. We opted not to get new unchipped panels because we finally got the thing together and working. While there is not a phone to contact anyone (no answer and voicemail was full), a company called Amueblate responds within a few hours via email (during standard business days). Customer service is friendly, professional, can swift to resolve problems. My advice is to make sure that you allow plenty of time to put it together and read the directions very carefully. Even with following the directions, it is flimsy in some parts until the very end. In one of the photos shown, you can see the base of the board that is anchored to the wall bowing outward due to the piston arm. Our biggest struggle was step 18 or 19, when we lowered the bed after putting everything together. Something kept popping and caused the piston arm to let go of the knob. With the new parts that they had sent, everything worked well after that. Just allow yourself several hours and follow the directions very carefully. Overall, building it was difficult for us and I have put tons of different IKEA furniture together before. However, now that it is done, it looks very nice and is a huge space saver for when we do not have company over. I am now looking for cute throw pillows to place on the shelf. Update: After one weekend of use, the bottom of the bed beneath the mattress is already pulling away from th besides. We are going to try and reinforce it with screws on either side of the cam locks to see if that helps hold it together. Disappointed. ... show more

    • Spent over 800 on something I will end up throwing away

Trash. Literally trash, spent 10 hours putting this together in order to find out the hydraulic risers did not work. Tried to have it replaced never received the part. The frame of the bed didn't stay connected to the wall.

Took couple hours to put together due to missing pieces, holes that didn’t line up, & etc. of course the wood ended up cracking and falling apart. In order to get my refund I have to find a new box- because I had to tear it apart to open it. Then, I have to take the ENTIRE thing apart! The quality is worse than any ikea, or other furniture piece I have bought off Amazon. Hopefully we end up with our money back or I’ll be out a lot and money and time over this junk ... show more

Setting up the bed, holes seemed to be off on a few pieces. Swapped top to bottom vise versa pieces, did the best we could to make the pieces fit. It was a little bit off. Probably explaining it out of order here but we followed the directions to a T as it boldly states. Pieces were bowing, not everything was flush. Put the gas hinges on. The bottoms were bowing out. It took two of us to pull the bed down. Attached it to the wall, I don’t know if our studs are off but one side was in the studs and the other we used dry wall screws. The first time pulling the bed down after it was attached to the wall, it ripped out of the wall. We had one hand on the frame and the other hand pulling the bed down, still just ripped out of the wall. Everything was leaving, angling, bowing, crooked. After it ripped out of the wall we said to heck with it and decided to return. Maybe we got a lemon, hope others find success. (Photos taken during break down process) ... show more
