My 3 year old grandson wears this wetsuit when he goes for swim lessons. He loves it, and it may help him with his lessons. The wetsuit has proven itself to be sturdy, and the fit is very good.

My child hatted swim class until I bought this. She stays warm not and can actually pay attention in swim class. Easy for her to move in, and take off. I put in the washer after swim only on rinse and spin cycle and keeps chlorine smell out.

Have only used once, but it is really well made and I have a degree in fashion design. It does smell a little like marijuana, but I am sure that will go away after a few uses. It kept my son a lot warmer in the beginning, but once the water had plenty of time to drop his body temperature he got cold again. But is I kept him moving, jumping, etc. he was happy. Also I figured out that I can hold him by grabbing a chunk of the zipper section on the back with my hand and then he could swim with his arms freely instead of trying to cling to me and he liked this. The swim class is about 50 min and I'd say he didn't start getting cold until 3/4 of the way through. My son is about 36" and weighs 26 lbs. size 1 fits him perfectly, not too tight, just a little bit of wiggle room.

My granddaughter just turned 6. She is 4' tall, weighs about 45 lbs, and is all muscle. This suit, size 4, fit her very well last summer and perfectly this summer. By next summer she will surely have grown out of it. I already have a size 6 suit ready for then. Great suit, well made, I expect to keep it to fit her 4 year old sister in the next year or two. Pricier than some other suits but well worth the cost.

In December 2016 I ordered the Youth Size 2 for my 4 year old girl who is 33 lbs & 39" tall, and it fits snugly well as it's supposed to be. The O'Neill website size chart was well worth using. In March 2017 the zipper came off track on one side when I unzipped it all the way down to take the suit off my daughter. I emailed the seller iSnorkel via the Amazon site and got a reply email the next morning from Dave. He said that it's not a common issue with O'Neill, and that very few have zipper issues. The email explained my warranty options to get it fixed, and he recommended that I phone his co-worker Jerry at 734-253-2461. I did and Jerry talked me through how to reattach the zipper myself and it's worked well since. iSnorkel did a 5 star job in handling my issue. My 4 star rating is because of the O'Neill zipper issue.

I have bought the size 1,2,3, and 4. As a man who has done a bit of wetsuit swimming this is my take. These suits are great for extending playtime, awesome for it’s sun blocking ability, slightly floaty and give the kids a tiny bit of bouncy. They definitely don’t fit like an adult wetsuit should. It’s not like a second layer everywhere. Big space in crotch and armpits but still works good. My kids just love putting on their suits. My 2 year old knows she can pee in it but no pooping and she really likes that. My 4 year old loves her wetsuit. She’s been wearing wetsuits since she was 2 too. Bottom line is that it is excellent for $60… I don’t know exactly how much but I’m sure these wetsuits save us a bit of money on sunscreen. Also the kids just think they are cool and they are!

Absolutely perfect for the splash pad, the pool, or the lake. Very well made, offers whole-body UV protection, and keeps our little one warm (both in and out of the water). We just got back from a holiday where we spent quite a bit of time at the beach, and I can't tell you how many people asked us where we got this. [Lots of the other toddlers were cold after 10 minutes in the water and needed to get dried off immediately after coming out, but our little one was able to wander in and out of the water all afternoon] In terms of sizing: The size 1 is a tad big on our 18 month old daughter (who is a lean 22 lbs.), but we have just been rolling up the legs and sleeves a bit, which works fine...and who knows, it may even fit her next year. Even though we ordered this from Canada (and therefore had to pay a ton of extra shipping and duty), I would order another one immediately if this one ever got lost. It really is that great!
