This has saved me from numerous hard falls and from getting the wind knocked out of me. Love it for learning spins and inverts on a wakeboard. The design is pretty sweet and very low profile, no eccentric color design to turn heads but looks bougie. The quality is okay, I've only used it a handful of times and the fabric is starting to show signs of wear and rubbing which is expected, but will be put to the test as time goes on. Very strong product overall especially for the price. IMPORTANT: This is an impact vest not a life vest, it provides very little floatation, if you need to stay afloat and keep your head above the water this may not be for you. We had tried a bunch of other ones that were just too bulky or didn’t fit right because he is larger than the youth size... so were thrilled to find this jacket. The extra small fit him perfectly. Didn’t love the sizing on this. Went off the provided chart and went a size smaller and still floated up when in the water. Was tight when I put on and felt fine there. Wasn’t able to get it in the water until over a month later and now too late to return.

We ordered a size large men and debated an XL. It's a snug fit but loosens and forms as it's worn and gets wet. Not sure if we would have compared the XL if that would have been a better fit, but we are pleased with this jacket.

The look of it is very sharp and sleek. Be aware that it says right on there that it is "Not a life jacket" which is weird because it says "Life Vest" in the Amazon label. I have tested it out and I float just fine...not sure of the regulations and the difference between this and an actual life jacket because I feel like it's the same.
