  • 6’4 195 and LT fits like a glove
Color: Black/Black Size: Large Tall
I’m new and haven’t put it to the test yet. at my height and weight, finding a suit was a bit of a chore. This felt very good, it was more flexible than others I tried and great quality. It fit from head to ankles and was the right torso length. It is incredibly warm so I’m comfortable it will perform well in the water. I’ll. Try and put out an update when I test it. ... show more

  • Perfect
Color: Black/Black Size: 3X-Large
I’m 6’3 330lbs my chest is 55” and the 3XL is a snug fit but it works well. I use it for Bodyboarding so it has good flexibility and I stay warm in the SoCal water

  • Fantastic quality at a good price
Color: Black/Graphite Size: Large Tall
I tried about 5 of the cheapo no name suits which all had problems with fit, either too short, tight or super baggy. The sizing charts on the listing page were all less than useless. I ended up returning those and got the O'Neill. Night and day difference in quality and fit. Almost 3 times the price but worth every penny. I'm 6'3" 200 lbs. ... show more

  • Meh, I may be biased, but this is just an average wetsuit
Color: Black/Black Size: Large
Probably the least comfortable wetsuit I've owned that i can remember. Typically, I don't buy low end suits, but I needed a new 3/2. This was a cheap price, and you get what you pay for. I'll prob only get a season or two out of this. Feels stiff, not that great of a fit, and has a seem on right side of the neck. Would not buy again. ... show more

  • Works in a Pinch, But It's Not Good
Color: Black/Black Size: Large Short
Needed a 3/2 wetsuit for some unexpected good surf while visiting Florida from Hawai'i. Water was way too cold for me in only boardshorts (been spoiled too long with that tropical blue Hawai'i water..,) and the local surf shops didn't have my size. This was the only Large Short 3/2 wetsuit I could get with next day delivery. The Good: It did the job. And for cheap; barely 100 bucks. Totally warm in 65 degree water on a moderately chilly 45 degree day (probably not objectively all that cold, but it's very cold compared to what I'm used to.) The neoprene was fresh, soft, and reasonably comfortable. I was expecting much less supple rubber for the cheap-o price. Seams were ok, not great. Sizing was true to Large Short. The Bad: The key pocket was just a flimsy rectangle of fabric lightly sewn along the inside of the zipper. No loop or lanyard to lock your key in place, and it did not feel secure. You could easily rip the thing off with your fingertips. It didn't even close with a strip of velcro or anything. I kept thinking I was gonna lose my key and get locked out of my car. Zipper also wasn't great in general. I wouldn't expect it (or the key pocket) to hold up to repeated use. The Ugly: No flush guard. The back zipper is pretty exposed without that flat piece of neoprene covering where your back meets the zipper. This means a lot of water getting into suit all at once from time to time. Didn't affect warmth much, but it caused a lot of very annoying "ballooning," where the sudden flush of water would inflate the small of my back and down to my legs. It was especially bad after deep duck dives and close-out barrels (the official state wave of Florida.) Never had this problem with any other wetsuit. It was a hassle to deal with and very distracting. Overall: While it was a functional wetsuit for a super cheap price, the flimsy key pocket and the absence of a flush guard cost this wetsuit serious points. It was good enough to help me score a few days of chest high beach break tubes on the mainland without freezing, but I would have gladly spent a bit more money and bought something better if it had been an option. No can recommend, brah. ... show more

  • Looking forward to comfortable, warm surf sessions with this suit this coming fall and winter.
Color: Black/Graphite Size: X-Large
Just a note on my credibility and expertise....I have longboard surfed Socal for the past 55 years and gone through dozens of wetsuits of most major brands. I am easy to please but hard to fit. I just received my O'Neill 3/2 Reactor 2 today and found the materials to be very good quality and well put together. I was a bit reluctant to order an O'Neill based on many years ago past experience of O'Neills being seemingly built for tall, slender individuals (of which I am neither,) but I couldn't pass up at this price (1/3 the cost of my current fullsuit) an opportunity to give O'Neill another chance for my future business. I am 5-10/210 lbs with a beer-barrel 45" chest and 36" waist, kinda like a '50s wrestler. I ordered an XL suit based on the sizing chart, and past experience of XLS being too restrictive. The good news is that with the new super-stretch materials the suit pulled on and off no problema. (OK Wetsox helped a bit and I highly recommend them.) It was properly snug without feeling binding, and the neck, wrists and ankles feel very watertight. It was not baggy in the arms and legs. It looks like it's gonna work fine. The bad news is (1) that the neck was pretty tight on my 18" neck, and may become uncomfortable over time; and (2) I couldn't get the zipper started up without the help of my laughing wife. (I've always thought wetsuits should come with a tab at the base of the spine to hold on to while pulling up the zipper. I often have one put on by a local suit repair.) As the water temps here drop next month I'll give the suit the 'acid test' with a few surf sessions. I'll update this review if any discrepancies are found, and how it performs. ... show more

  • Great wetsuit, perfect fit, poorly packaged by Amazon
Color: Black/Black Size: 3X-Large
Amazon did a terrible job shipping this item. It likely has permanent creases from being bunched up in a bag. So, be warned, it's likely that you'll have similar issues; I suspect that warehouse associates don't know much about properly folding and shipping wetsuits. That said, this is a great wetsuit and a great value. It's very well made, comfortable, and a perfect fit. I'm a 6’1 Male, 248lbs, with relatively wide hips, which can make sizing a chore. I got the 3XL (based on their sizing guide) and it's a perfect fit. Definitely recommend the wetsuit, but I haven't decided if I should try and get a replacement that hasn't been aesthetically damaged. ... show more
