I bought a usb splitter cable for my aio LED and Wifi card but when I plugged everything in the bluetooth on my wifi card wouldn't work. With this usb hub everything works perfectly and I have room for more connections in the future!

    • Honestly #1 choice for usb2.0 mb expansion
Please head this advice. This is a device that I see in comments below say messed up components in their pc. I can say with confidence and glee that it didn’t happen to me. I even had put one of my usb headers on the actual expander incorrectly(I got lucky it didn’t fry what I attached) I will say that it does what you want it to do. It expands your options of usb headers. I did this as I needed to control one more set of RGB fans that my Case came with and another rgb controller. And Miraculously Enough, It works. I would never reccomend ever putting more than two sets of rgb fans with 3 or more each attached personally, As I saw many people having problems with just one, but it’s also great that I can still add another usb device or two should I ever need it. Cons: If you have a case that doesn’t have much room on the back wall the actual header sticks out of the case and in addition you got to take into consideration the cables attached. So you may need to mount it on the bottom of your case or potentially within the inside of the space inside the chasis where most of your pc components are located. ... show more

    • Corsair Disconnect FIXED!!!

I specifically purchased this in an attempt to fix my corsair lighting node core from disconnecting and it actually works. From what I gathered reading various forums, your motherboard has a limited bandwidth on the usb 2.0 internal headers. When connecting a commander pro or other peripherals to those headers, the amount of power supplied to those headers are diminished as more devices are connected. So when you connect your commander pro, rgb hub, and water pump, the mobo cant supply enough power for those data connections causing disconnects. You should also note that the corsair commander pro usb headers are basically useless pass throughs. You could try checking if the nzxt hub powering the copro will let the usb headers on the copro work but i dont have mine wired that way and dont intend to create another potential issue. The setup i have is this: Water pump to mobo header 1, Nzxt hub to mobo header 2, copro to nzxt hub, Lighting node pro to nzxt hub. my issue was that the lighting node pro would disconnect and reconnect infinitely when turning all the leds on my system white. The nzxt hub solved that issue and will probably help you stop disconnects too, wether it be copro or other other device. Highly recommend this to anyone trying to solve that disconnect issue. Dont mind reviews stating that this fried their system. As long as you connect the cables as they should, your rig should turn on and everything should be powered. ... show more

    • Straightforward solution to needing more USB headers
It works, and it's a reasonably clean solution to wanting more USB ports built into your computer, instead of using an external hub. It has internal magnets so it'll stick to many surfaces in a steel computer case. It also comes with a couple of velcro strips if you want to mount it to something non magnetic. It has 1 input header and 4 output headers. All the connectors are standard USB 2.0 internal 10 pin header connectors. All 5 connectors come with plastic protectors, which you probably want to leave on any headers you don't use. You connect the included USB header-to-header cable from your motherboard to the input connector. The included USB internal cable is of moderate length. It's comfortable if you plan to put this within about 6" of the header. It's not going to reach all the way across the back of your motherboard. It needs a SATA power connector, and comes with a short SATA power extension cable. You can connect it directly to a SATA power cable if you want, but it's likely you'll want to mount this somewhere other than your internal drive bays - ergo, somewhere your power cable probably isn't going. ... show more

    • Easy to install and use, but one small complaint
It’s easy to set up & performs exactly how it should. Also really appreciate the fact that all the headers on the controller come with little rubber caps on them to protect the pins. I know the product description has the size dimensions, & even says it’s small. However it’s definitely smaller than it looks in the pictures which I appreciate. That being said though despite its small size it can’t just attach to the back of the inside of the case where you’d route your cables, because even though my case has ample room for cable management it stuck out too far to get the back panel on. Possibly with some force, or a back panel that allows for even more space for cable management it would, but I’m not comfortable putting too much force on the usb 2.0 headers for my devices because I’d rather not risk damaging them. So my only complaint is that it’s almost necessary to stick this in a drive cage, which I did not for it in there as both my SSDs are in there and there was not enough room, so I had to tuck it next to the PSU which of course is already crowded as that’s the only place to put all your slack from your power cables. ... show more
