Easy to install: if you can install any cpu cooler you can install this. Unsure if you can install a cooler? Can you screw in 4 screws without jamming the screwdriver into whatever you are mounting too? If yes congrats! You can install this! Cooling (Warmth): This cooler works great at cooling. My temps have never been lower on a cpu. Truly impressive how far cooking has come this last decade. Noise: Right out of the box this cooler is very quite. But after a few hours of use when the water becomes a little heat soaked the pump will ramp up and sound like you have a very loud fish tank on your desk. Easy fix: if you download the NZXT cam app you can set both fab and PUMP curves. I recommend a constant pump speed of just under 50% personally this is the fastest it can be that I do not hear the pump (even 1% faster annoys me BAD) changing to this constant speed from the performance preset on my OC’ed 3800x (all core 4.3Ghz) I increased my max temp after 20 minutes of cinebench by 1 degree so now my max temp is 76 instead of 75. (I also use a very low fan curve because I hate fan noise) I would recommend this for anyone! I would also recommend you set a custom fan and pump curve. ... show more

Went from stock AMD cooler that comes with the Ryzen 5 3600 to this beast and wow. Immediately brought temps down 20°C at idle and while gaming for extended periods of time consistently. Pre-applied thermal paste works fine and I was too lazy to clean it off and add my own noctua thermal paste. The fans on the radiator look so nice that I’m taking all of my old rgb fans out and installing 4 new NZXT fans (non RGB) *Only con is the installation process* Even with a YouTube tutorial it was a difficult installation for me. It very well could’ve been user error but I followed the instructions to a “t” and it took 2.5 hours whereas my entire computer only took 2 hours to build from CPU, mobo, RAM, cooler, fans, GPU, HDD, SSD, PSU, cable management. Etc, etc. I installed this in my computer 3 months ago and still have nightmares about the installation. Was the nightmarish installation worth the result? Hands down, no doubt in my mind it was worth it. Just buy the dang thing. ... show more

Cons: Not easy to install at all, Many wires are near the RAMs if not then tubes will be near the RAMs, Mounting screws are difficult to mount hitting the meta ring. Bad pre-applied thermal paste. Pros: Rotating ring (NZXT Logo) is great idea, giving some flexibility when mounting the cooler. Good cooling solution (Not Great) long tubes, not sure if its a pro or con :P nice looking RGB Good App Somewhat silent I have i7 9700K running at 5.2ghz @1.33v, keeping it under 70c on all games, sometimes temps dont reach 60 overall, I like it and so far so good. ... show more

    • Good product, make sure you get the right one for your CPU
i use this to cool a 5950x - it is not able to cool optimally cool the CPU, but I am able to get decent performance with the right pbo settings. I upgraded from a 2700x with the wraith prism fan and this is a million times easier to install over the wraith. I should have picked the x63 for my 5950x, so it's my ault i got the wrong size - the product works as described. I don't have experience with NZXT's software, but if you use linux you can use gkraken to control the pump speed as well as the lighting - though openRGB works better for the lighting control that allows you to turn off the logo while keeping the infinity mirror part lit up. The included fans aren't obnoxiously loud, but you can definitely hear it across the room at full load. Overall it works as expected and I would buy it again if I had a 5600x - i'd say anything above that would require more cooling especially if you're using the 5800x as that gets hot. ... show more

This is the best liquid cooler for my cpu. It look gorgeous. It compatible with Intel socket 1200 motherboard. It cool my cpu Intel i7 10700k perfect. For my common work and gaming the temp around 31c to 45c. I also did cpu stress test on Aida64 highest temp around 61c. No overclocking. NZXT Cam is awesome app to monitor and control your system. I would suggest you all plug the pump cable to the pump header on motherboard and fans cable plug it to CPU fan header. This is correct way make your system silent and stay cool. Otherwise it gonna be loud like jet engine if you plug cpu fan to system fan header. It doesn’t include fan controller hub either lucky I have fan splitter adapter, so I plugged those 2 fans cable into one on CPU fan header. Finally, for my opinion this is the best liquid cooler. I bought this x53 to cool my Ryzen 9 5950x, which ran a bit hot. Before I bought this, my idle temps were around 55. After buying this product, my idle temps are around 32, and I haven't seen them go over 60 even when I run pretty demanding software (cyberpunk, Cinebench, etc.). I used to be able to get it to 80 with my other cooler. The only issue with this cooler is the noise, however, I have headphones on when I use my PC and usually have music or game volume coming from the headphones, so it is pretty easy to ignore. Other than the noise, this cooler is awesome, I'm not the type of guy who usually writes reviews, but this cooler's performance blew me away. If you find your CPU runs pretty hot, and it bothers you, this cooler is something you should not hesitate to buy. ... show more
