I've been using the matte finishing spray for years and I absolutely love it! I've tried other brands, just to see what is out there, especially if I've been using a product for awhile, but I always come back to this! For the price and how well it works you simply cannot beat it. I'm a avid gym goer and yes I'm that girl that wears makeup everywhere, for me that is a true test with the sweat factor. Well packaged and arrived in great condition, not leaky or anything like that. Setting sprays are hit or miss. I’ve used Catrice, Milani, Maybelline and Physician’s Formula. Out of those, the Physician’s Formula actually did what you’d want a setting spray to do: set your make up look. But, they discontinued the one I used and replaced it with some ‘diamond dust’ stuff that just made me look like I was headed to a cosplay in Pomona. So, I ordered this to give it a try. I’ve had great success with many NYX products. This isn’t one of them. This is a fine spray (that’s good!) but the ‘dewy’ finish never really sets down. I have to be very cognizant of touching my face while using this because it’s actually a bit greasy. I don’t look ‘dewy’ I look oily, and that’s just not at all what I’m going for in a setting spray. I like a dewy finish as I am a bit on the ‘older’ side and matte finishes just emphasize the fine lines under my eyes. But this isn’t dewy. It’s 15-year old pubescent, on the verge of a breakout, shiny! Not a good look, and it doesn’t set my makeup at all. If I wipe my nose, the makeup on my nose is coming off with this stuff. So, try something else. My next experiment involves a South Korean setting spray with a ‘dewy’ finish. We’ll see how that one works. The search continues… ... show more

This works great. I have not had any issues with black flakes like other comments or reviews. However my mascara doesn't seem to mix well with it so I will put that on after I spray my face. But it holds the makeup all night long. Even when you go to bed and wake up the next day it's still on.
