I love the style of the case and the rubber and hard plastic combination makes it real strong against drops from the side, front and back. The clear plastic on the back and front protects the phone screen and back (camera & fingerprint sensor), but also safely shows off the phone without compromising the shape of the phone. The buttons, speaker openings, and charger/earphone covers are perfect and work seamlessly. They keep a great amount of dirt off the phone and protect it even more against splashes from liquids. My only issue is that clear protection screens are billed as scratch-resistant, but I already noticed a few nicks from placing my keys and the case in the same pocket. Not a huge deal, just not as scratch-proof as I thought initially. Still, for the price this is the best case In my opinion for this phone. ... show more

After an hour I peeled off the screen protector it made the screen too numb and was already collecting dust between the screen. It would be fine without the front but the back shows too many finger prints and the thin plastic offers little protection. The last deal breaker is the color. The green looks NOTHING like the picture. EDIT: I'm adding that their customer service is very good ... show more

My biggest grief with this purchase is they didn't have the different colors when I purchased it, so I got the black one by default, I would of preferred the green. Anyway on to the case, I took a chance on this as there wasn't any reviews but I decided to look up case's that they make for other phones & they always average 4*, so that was enough for me to purchase. This is my 3rd case for the Moto G7 all from different sellers this was the most expensive & it's the one I feel most comfortable with to protect my phone, it was bit of a challenge to get the case apart to put my phone in, but that's a good thing as I know it will protect my phone.. ... show more

Overall, I really like this case. It's sleek and not bulky. Definitely shows off the phone. The black case isn't exactly all black like picture shows. The trim is more of a gunmetal silver/grey that I think is a bonus and better compliments the case over just black. It fits great and aligns spot on with the buttons and such. My one complaint is it says the screen protector is scratch proof. The back side is doing a decent job, but the screen protector for the front half of the phone has some fairly big scratches on it, just from being in my purse a few times. Luckily you can't really see them when phone is on. But for this price, I'll just buy a new one later on when it gets really bad. ... show more

Easy install and fits my G7 perfectly. Adds a lot of bulk to the phone, but that's a good thing in a few ways. Works great with my magicmount magnetic phone mount as well. I wouldn't want to install a thing like a pop socket on this as I don't think it would look great with the aesthetic. Easy to use with the fingerprint scanner on the back as well. Just make sure you install this in a clean environment and on a clean phone, otherwise you'll be seeing dust and spots under the screens! Really liking this so far! ... show more

Let me first start by saying that there was nothing mechanically wrong with the actual case, the complaints and gripes I had with it could simply be chucked up as user preference. That being said, this case was used for approximately 1 week before I got sick of it and swapped it out for a different solution. ISSUE #1 – I didn’t realize how much plastic was on the actual case. I knew of the front plastic cover, but didn’t realize the back also had a sheet of clear plastic in place the other kind of solid colored plastic cases are made of these days. The pictures in the posting doesn’t really emphasize this, and I must have missed it in the product description. This wasn’t a show stopper, but quickly became annoying with issues #2. ISSUE #2 – The type of clear plastic used on the case is a magnet for finger prints. I’ve always used the tempered glass on my phones, but decided to give this plastic cover a go, see what I thought of it, and what I thought of it was it wasn’t good. Not sure what type of material the plastic is made of, or what coating was used to coat it during the manufacturing process, but it LOVED to collect my finger prints. So much so, that I found myself having to wiped the phone down after ever use. And since the back of the case was also made of this material, it too needed a wipe down. ISSUE #3 – The clear plastic film didn’t sit flush with the phone and hovered ever so slightly off the screen that it made a weird sound every time I touched the screen. The plasticky type sound you get when you tap on the clear plastic shell of most toy packaging these days. It didn’t matter how many times I remove and reinserted that front plate, how firm I pressed down, or how I jiggled it down into place, the front cover was never flush on the screen and the tapping noise was audibly heard. Overall, I wasn’t happy with this purchase and opted to get a different style of case for my Moto G7 (Amazon Item# B07WTVB296), and went with the tempered glass screen protector instead of plastic. Case has been placed back into its original packaging and will be making it way to the local Good Will donation center on my next run. I would be hard pressed to recommend this case to someone else. While the current selection of cases is quite limited for the Moto G7, this is by far one of weaker selection out there. It's not a complete failure, but definitely not much more than a 3-star product in mu opinion. ... show more

I specifically chose Poetic as the brand for my new phone case because I've loved the case I've had for years for my Moto G4. When I received the new case for my G7 I was disappointed that the case was almost impossible to disassemble, to put the phone inside. When I was finally able to get the front cover separated from the back cover the front cover frame broke! I also damaged the screen protector in the process and had to remove it completely. It was almost like the front and back had fused together over time or something. I'm going to ask for a replacement. I hope they stand by their product and replace free of charge, with free shipping! ... show more
