Tried the product today.: This is the first time I've ever used any cosmetics from the NYX brand. I'm so HAPPY I gave the product a chance. I'm 45 with normally healthy combination skin but I'm sensitive to many make up brands. (The past four weeks I went through being very ill with Covid-19 and dehydration, resulting in my face being unusually dry. The medication I had to take also made my skin irritated. ) This NYX make up felt so good ,CALMED my skin instantly, went on smoothly, and matched my skin tone very well. It also provides great coverage, with out feeling heavy. After years of searching for a make up that actually feels healthy, I believe I've found it with this NYX product . As someone who has to do a multi-step skin prep before putting on foundations because my skin is super dry, I hate when foundations still cling on to those ugly dry patches. This foundation does not do this as much as the other foundations I have tried does this. I am a deeper toned African-American woman, and this foundation (Cocoa) matched my skin tone beautifully with only a little adjustment needed for discolorations around my lower face. However, this foundation does not hold up against humid Georgia weather but it also did not have me looking like a oil slick. I believe because my skin is naturally dry, as this foundation started to wear down I looked more dewy than oily, so people with oily skin might want to powder more or avoid this radiant foundation. I love this foundation so far! I have fairly dry sensitive skin and often foundation cakes on my skin, but this does not! It is thin, it has twice came out of the bottle much more quickly than expected - so be careful! but provides nice coverage. It seems to keep my skin moisturized and has not gotten caked or flaky which is amazing! Medium coverage. Flawless finish. Please note...this foundation does OXIDIZE....meaning...the color depends when exposed to oxygen. As I apply the product, it warms up and does not look the same as the original color. Still beautiful but go one shade lighter than the displayed color.
