Nyx had a Bare With Me lightweight tinted hydrator/foundation years ago that I loved, and I've always been kind of searching for an equivalent to it ever since it was discontinued. This one comes close, but is still a little bit heavier than I normally prefer for everyday wear. Still, it has good coverage, looks dewy/moist without being greasy or heavy, and matches well. I have oil/combo skin and this stuff is amazing on both the parts of my skin that are dry, and help up against my oils breaking through! I paired it with the Milk cosmetic primer and L'oreal powder and it was stunning. Looks like my skin but better! I think the shade I got is a little orange though - so I would definitely suggest going in store when possible to test out which shade you are. This is quickly becoming one of my favorite. After about 8hrs of wear, I did notice some creasing around my smile lines, but that was easily fixable. I know the price point is kept low by the packaging, but I would love a pump on this one. I am a long time user of NYX Can’t Stop Won’t Stop foundation and haven’t found a better affordable foundation. Sadly, it seems like NYX is phasing that out? I can’t find it in stock anywhere, even on their own website. So I reluctantly looked for a different foundation. I thought this one might be a decent replacement, and I trust the NYX brand to deliver good products. But this was awful. The shade (light) in the bottle looks really yellow, so I was afraid it wouldn’t match my skin. But it was actually the opposite, it is extremely pale. I have very light skin but that was too white for me. The worst part though is the way it looks. It adds so much texture to the skin and really accentuates flaws. Dry skin and pores look terrible. It settles into fine lines immediately and it never seems to actually set. I waited several minutes before applying blush and the foundation immediately smeared off. So I touched my face and the foundation just slides right off. I’ve tried using this 3 times and changed up my application, but no matter what I do it just looks horrible. I don’t know who this was made for. The coverage is much heavier than I thought it would be, which would be fine if it didn’t look so bad. NYX, PLEASE bring back the Can’t Stop Won’t Stop foundation, as it was such a dependable foundation that had a great finish. I have this in med neutral and the biggest problem I have with it is that it’s too orange. I have a love / hate with this stuff bc I like it bc it makes me look tan and I mix it with my lighter foundations — and it covers well and blurs well but ultimately it’s too orange. 3.5 stars

I really like this foundation, I tend to go for more lightweight light coverage face products and this one turned out really well for me, I picked the shade medium which is slightly lighter than my skin tone but with a little bronzer it’s a perfect match. It is very matte which some may not be a fan of but that is easily combatted with a dewy finish product which is what I do and I love it, it comes out very skin like.
