These brushes are worth it especially for this price! I debated buying these for almost 2 years... wish I got them sooner. I love the F80 foundation brush it does work really well, better than my real techniques expert face brush or buffing brush (which I have used for 3 years) but they leave some streaks. The f80 takes less work to get a flawless finish and helps the foundation not look like its sitting on the skin. It can be easy to apply it too thickly so if med to heavy coverage is what you want this is the brush. I havent used the f35 highligher brush too much yet but it seemed to do what its named for and applied highlighter I think it could do a nice contour with the point of it too. still experimenting. the eye brushes: so the E25 is supposed to be a dupe for the MAC 117, and I would say thats close however the material is different. Mac uses goat hairs and the sigma is synthetic, but I prefer the MAC fibers, they hold onto the pigment and blend better. The sigma works too but i find I have to take more time and a little more product to get what im used to. But having this brush is great if I dont want to clean my brush in between colors. The pencil brush E30 is great! I really love it. my previous pencil brush from elf with the clear handle and white fibers was too soft, this sigma one works very well (I havent tried the mac to compare). the black blending brush E40 is a good blending brush Ive been using it at the end of doing my eyes to take away harsh lines. So thats my take, its worth it, especially if you only like synthetic brushes, however to me this wont replace MAC 117 or MAC 239 eye brushes. But the foundation brush is so worth it! ... show more

Got a fantastic deal on this set. Well worth it for the value of the flat kabuki brush on its own which is now my most used brush for cream/liquid foundation. Excellent eye brushes in this set as well. Perfect for detailed eyeshadow looks.

I bought these brushes because everyone raves about Sigma brushes being so amazing. Started with this small set. I don't really get the hype. I have a 11 piece brush set that cost half of this from elf cosmetics that I think the majority of their brushes are just as good if not better than the Sigma ones. The Kabuki brush is super soft but the bristles are a little too compact for what I like. I will say I do love the E30 Pencil Brush and F35 Tapered Highlighter brush. Those two make the purchase worth it because buying the 2 separately is just about as expensive as the set. But I'm not sure I'm sold on the awesomeness of Sigma brushes. ... show more
