This would make the perfect gift for yourself, go on and indulge yourself, or anyone in your life that loves mermaids and quality eye makeup. I have been obsessed with makeup since I was about twelve and one of my biggest pet peeves is eye shadow that looks a certain color or has a certain effect on the surface, but as soon as you use it once, you're stuck with bland eye shadow. Like when you buy glittery eye shadow, but there's only a thin smear of glitter on the surface. Not this little jar. The holographic effect lasts until you run out. It goes on like butter, even in a pinch when I use my pinky. This is my favorite colored eye shadow ever, I mean EVAH! I've gotten complimented every time i leave the house wearing it. ... show more

Yup, mine came in crushed pieces. I think the color is pretty but will never know as it's a return. Will buy in store as I don't think this travels well.

    • Came broken, but managed to fix it
This eye shadow came broken, but if you pour a little rubbing alcohol onto the broken shadow and then press down on it with a towel, it binds the shadow together (the rubbing alcohol doesn’t stay, it eventually evaporates just leave the shadow out to dry). Still disappointing that it came broken though. ... show more

Absolutely recommend this shadow. I've been looking everywhere for a true "mint" color that's not included in some huge $49 palette. This one is gorgeous and exactly what I wanted. It's very pigmented and has caused zero irritation. I wear this like I would an eyeliner and use a wet angled brush to apply on my lash lines. Most generally I'm very sensitive to eye shadows; they'll make my eyes burn and bright red or itchy. I've even had one drugstore brand send me to urgent care due to my eyes swelling up. Since this wore very comfortably and beyond excited and recommend to others with sensitive skin and/or eyes. Happy shopping! ... show more
