This board seems sturdy enough. I haven't had time to break it in myself, but it came recommended by a friend who has put his to the test. I've seen him grind and flip on it at least. I wanted something I could paint. I used Posca paint markers (which I highly recommend), some spray paint, and the "triple-thick crystal clear glaze" from Krylon. If you plan to do something similar, I have some tips. As you can see, I left the board's original finish showing through the middle. I found that when I was drawing over that area, the lighter paint markers needed several layers to become opaque (mainly the yellow and orange). This was not a problem when going over the dried spray paint. Next time, I'll either sand the original finish down or paint it with a clear primer first. Anyway, I'm glad I did the sealant at the end. It took it to another level! ... show more

Solid shape, decent pop. Bought this board after some reddit research. People on the sub seemed to like it. Has a good board feel. Haven’t gotten to skate much just the initial kickflip tests with it since my friend is making a custom graphic for me for this and that was the whole reason for a purchase of a blank. Overall I’d say a solid purchase if you’re not looking to buy a pro board or something with a graphic on it. ... show more

I honestly was really hoping that the board would be good. I’m just learning and tried to Ollie and after about an hour of trying I had a friend who knows a lot about skating and said it was waterlogged. I never left it outside or near water when it broke it looked like there was plywood or some kind of cork on a layer. I don’t know how I would get a refund but I really would appreciate it because this isn’t worth it. Trust me just spend $30 at a skateshop on a board instead it isn’t worth riding for a few hours ... show more

i haven't ridden yet, but seems solid and quality. my issue is that it came with deck tape, but does not say that anywhere. now i paid for a 2nd roll of tape that i have no use for.
