Wow. I was looking for a soft pencil that had staying power and a complimentary color for my skin...and this is it! The pencil is soft and goes on smoothly without pulling my eyelid. It literally lasts all day whether I use an eye lid primer or not. And the color, Deep Purple, is absolutely perfect if you're looking for something softer than black, but different than gray. It's a wonderful, muted color--very classic. Some of the purple colors out there are just that--way out there! Suited more for teenagers or extreme drama. This brand and their color Deep Purple is lovely, not too blue and not too bright. (My skin tone is a medium shade.) I am by no means a make up person. I have blue eyes and purple looks lovely. This pencil however breaks so easily every time I use it. It lasted like 2 weeks and most of it ended up in my sink. I’m not even joking, I wouldn’t even twist it out and the tip would crumble into my eye and then the sink. I’m not pressing it into my lid either, it’s just that soft. This is my favorite eyeliner and I usually purchase it off of here instead of the store since I usually forget. It does not irritate the eyes at all and the black color quality is very bold. However you need to apply once or twice a day especially if you have teary eyes, the color will wipe away over time especially if you itch your eyes a lot. The pencil is soft and lasts me a few months being used every day.
