I will say... these take some patience if you're installing them by hand and have no idea what you're doing LOL but i figured it out and it worked great. My husband bought a new hat and one of our dogs decided to grab it and chew the snaps off within the first couple days of him having it. I couldn't stand the thought of throwing away a brand new hat, so I ordered these and used a needle and thread plus a little super glue to get them on. I have a great old Chicago Bears hat from the 1985 super bowl that needed repair. These snap straps filled the bill. I had a replacement straps replaced at a local dry cleaners for a few dollars. My diy stitching skills are not so good but maybe yours are so fix that old favorite hat.
