I will use this food for the rest of my doggies lives! They love it and it's good for them. They have never refused it and never became sick from it. I am very leery after my cats died of the "pet food poisoning" in 2008. I used Pedigree can dog food this past month and my five poodles became ill after eating it: they vomited and had diarrhea. I am not sure if the batch of food was tainted this time from something. I have used IAMS dry dog food in the past for them, and they became ill in 2008. I have a dog with sensitive stomach and this is one of the few brands he can eat. I don’t normally buy a big bag like this but due to the lockdown I decided to buy this not knowing when pet stores were opening. This came on time and the bag was well preserved. The size and ring design of the pebbles are good for older dogs. I use this to mix in with the homemade food I give my dogs. To anyone out there, please start giving your dogs real, homemade food, and add a dry one like this just to fill up or in case of emergencies!!! My 11 year old Lab Retriever has had most of her stomach issues improve greatly after using this food to compliment her homemade one. It doesn't smell weird or strong. ... show more

My veterinarian suggested I switch my terrier to a senior diet because he had crystals in his urine. He gave me a few options to try & this was the winner. It’s also reasonably priced. I have this set up for automatic delivery because it’s not always in stock at the pet store.

My aging dog has been on this formula of dog food for several years. She's 15+ years old now, and has probably been on this for well over 5 years. What I like most about this formula and brand is that she gets the nutrition she needs without a lot of the added fillers and junk that just run right through her, if you know what I mean. Since switching to this brand and formula, we haven't had any issues as we have had before with other cheaper brands. Best of all, Amazon delivers this to my DOOR. Lugging this giant bag of dog food from the store to my house and inside is annoying, so I LOVE ordering it from Amazon. I wish I had realized they sold it sooner. ... show more
