    • Good Laptop At A Fair Price
Set name: N4120|4GB|64GB
For the price, this laptop gets a 5 star rating. Well, more like 4.5 but I couldn't give it that. It's a good sized laptop with a clear screen. It's pretty darn fast and it looks pretty sharp. Speakers are decent but not mind-blowing and for what it's worth, it has a camera, which is, again, passable, not mind-blowing. The keyboard on the one I got is more of a darker grey (it's advertised as ash grey, which I believe is a lighter color) but I actually like the darker keyboard better. Typing on the keyboard is pretty smooth too. It could use one or two more outlets on the sides though. You only get one USB Type-A port, one USB Type-C port and a headphone jack. Fine if you're more of a minimalist, but not ideal for multi-tasking work. Also, a little tip; When powering on, all you need to do is press the power button, NOT press and hold. I didn't realize that at first and thought initially that their was a problem. Just a piece of advice. Overall, it's a good laptop, at a fair price and should work well for the "Average Joe". I just got it, so the only question I have is, how long will it last? Hopefully it lasts me quite a while. But we'll see. I also got one of the recommended carrying cases for it, but that's another review for another time. Overall Rating: 4.5/5 stars. ... show more

    • Perfect laptop for kids’ homework and parental controls
Set name: N4120|4GB|64GB
We bought two of these for our kids to use for homework, and we would absolutely buy them again. You really can’t beat the price point for what you get. What mattered most to us was the parental controls, and these have been excellent. We receive a daily email showing what our kids have searched, and we can easily lock down content, which was very important to us. They’re also super easy for kids to use and navigate, even if they’re just learning how to use a laptop. The keyboard is comfortable, the keys are easy to press, and everything feels very straightforward and intuitive. The laptop itself is lightweight, which makes it easy for kids to carry around. It uses a USB-C charger (the same type many Apple products use), which we love because it’s universal and easy to replace if one goes missing. Overall, this has been a great choice for schoolwork and basic use. Simple, reliable, and very kid-friendly. ... show more

    • Issue with the charger.
Set name: N4120|4GB|64GB
This Chromebook 14 Laptop was perfect in size and speed. Fast Setup. My only issue is that the charger malfunctioned after 7 months and is not covered under the warranty so I have to order a replacement.

    • Slow freezes and horrible (gray)keyboard
Set name: N4120|4GB|64GB
UPDATED AND DOWN RATED AFTER A MONTH 4 to one Only had it a day but have to remark it was very easy even for a 77 year old who is not the most expert technology guy around. It looksjust like my old screen with the same features. This Chromebook approach to a PC is amazing to me. Only slight down side is the screen clarity/sharpness which is less sharp than my last HP Chromebook. Not sure how to determine sharpness from the technical info when shopping but maybe this is alowerendof the HP line.Plus the Keyboard letters and numbers medium gray do not standout well from the muddy gray base color. Debating 4or 5 stars - going with 5, as it seems to be a very good price. Update down to 4* . The space bar needs a much harder stroke that theother key. The gray on grey keyboard is much more annoying that I previously thought andit is slower at playing Reelsthan my last HP UPDATE It is slow- and connot dealwith multipleopen windowsand it freezes often. I would return buy have provacy concerns for the data I have in it. AS OTHERS HAVE SAID THE ONLY GOOD THING WAS EASY START UP - by far the worse ChromebookI ever had. ... show more

    • A beautiful dependable system with long battery life
Set name: N4120|4GB|64GB
I bought this computer as a backup for my work, and I love it. The battery lasts all day while I am working. I love the build quality. Unlike my previous laptops, this does not have holes that allow it to cool at the bottom; these are above the keyboard instead. This is great because I never experience overheating if I place my computer on fabric or plastic which seems to block the holes on other systems I've owned. This is not a touch screen computer, and the keyboard is not backlit either, but these were not among my list of requirements. After owning this for a year, the screen opens and closes nicely. It is neither too slack nor too tight. Additionally, since it has a long hinge that connects the top to the bottom from side to side, the hinge is less likely to break. I love this system and highly recommend it. ... show more
