This has an impressive 27 bottle capacity which even allows for space for Pinot Noir bottles which are often wider at the base. You have dual sections to which you can set to different temperatures despite only having one door which we really like as a feature, allowing us to store both our white and red wines together at their individual optimum temperatures. We've also found we can store other beverages and mixers as well which is nice. It is incredibly quiet so we have it stored in our bar area and it doesn't disrupt in any way which I really like as I have in the past found others to be very noisy. The controls are clear and easy to operate and I think it looks very impressive with its heavy glass door allowing you to make a real feature of the fridge as well as having the practical benefits of it. ... show more

    • Nice wine refrigerator, just plan where you will put it first!
This is a very nice dual zone wine refrigerator a good price when on sale. In addition to wine, it can be used for larger bottles of beer (I like my Belgian and German imports! Functionality is great and the temperature is easy to control via the touch interface at the top. Shelves are easy to access and allow for good air circulation. Very quiet overall, and I had no quality issues with the unit I received. A couple things to consider before you buy it: 1. Where are you going to put it? This is a 44 inch high appliance, and therefore is taller than kitchen counters which are 36 inches high. This height makes this refrigerator more suitable for a bar area than a kitchen area. 2. Have power nearby where you want to put it, otherwise the cord can become a problem or you will find yourself installing a new outlet. 3. Discuss it with your wife first :) 4. The unit is heavy - get help moving it If you have answers for 1 - 4 and need to chill a lot of bottles of wine, this is a economical option for you! ... show more

This wine storage unit fit perfectly into my space. It’s tall and slim which is exactly what I was looking for. The dual zone temp control gives you a lot of flexibility. White wine, red wine and champagne are all ok being stored at 55 degrees so I’m keeping both zones set to 55 and basically using it as one full unit instead of 2 separate sections. The control panel is real simple to operate. I didn’t even have to refer to the owners manual at all. The bottom feet are adjustable to give it a stable footing. It is very quiet, you barely even hear it operating. It looks sleek and stylish and I really like the glass see-through door. The interior light is controlled manually from the control panel. It does not automatically light up when the door is opened. This unit is well worth the price and I would highly recommend it to any wine connoisseur. Easy 5 stars on this one. ... show more

My wife and I snagged this wine fridge, and it's been a game-changer for our limited space. The dual-zone feature is a huge plus, letting me keep reds and whites at their ideal temperatures for serving. We've found the touch controls to be super easy to use, and the interior light adds a nice, elegant touch when we're picking a bottle. It's also surprisingly quiet (but not silent), which is great since it's in our main living area. The only real downside is the bottle fit. Wider bottles, like some pinots or champagnes, are a tight squeeze, so we have to get creative with placement, which sometimes reduces the 27 bottle capacity (shelves are designed for three, but sometimes only fit two). All in all, though, we feel the quality is excellent for the price, offering great value without breaking the bank. Under $500 is not cheap, but it adds a high-end feel to our lifestyle. It's a sleek unit that keeps our collection perfectly chilled and looks great doing it. I have found Nutrichef to be a middling brand. They definitely do not make junk, but their products sometimes get mixed reviews. I've never owned a Nutrichef product, but their reputation and quality/price point make them the kind of product we lean towards--not too expensive, but decent for the price. So we took the chance. This wine chiller was easy to install; however, I had to unplug and re-plug the power cord so I could adjust the temperature. After the product reached the desired temperature (44 degrees), I let the product sit for 24 hours and then loaded it with bottles of white wine in the bottom and soda in the top. After a reasonable amount of time, the product maintained the desired 44 degrees and has remained at that temperature ever since. Although I have yet to sample a bottle of the refrigerated wine, the soda is cold and I am pleased with the product's performance to date. I definitely recommend this nice wine chiller refrigerator. Build quality feels genuinely premium for the price, it is a well, solid constructed wine cooler.Shelves glide smoothly yet hold their shape even with heavier Burgundy bottles, and the tall-but-narrow chassis slots neatly into a 12-inch gap by my pantry without hogging floor space. Blue interior lighting and a responsive touch panel lend a bit of lounge-bar flair; the integrated lock keeps curious teens out. I have also been storing my home brewed Kombucha bottles during second fermentation cycles! I *wanted* to love the NutriChef PKCWCDS275.5 after seeing its rock-solid temp control and sleek twin-zone layout in action, but the experience soured before the first bottle cooled. The shipping carton showed up with one corner smashed open, insulation peeking out. Inside, the left-rear foot was crushed, the door sat slightly crooked, and the top bezel had popped free of the frame. Cosmetic? Maybe—but when I powered it up, every compressor cycle sent a rattle through the bent foot that echoed like a loose muffler. I shimmed the base with a 1.5-inch block of scrap oak; that tamed the clatter to a bearable hum, but a brand-new $450 appliance shouldn’t need my woodworking skills. Worse, NutriChef’s “24/7” support seems to be on permanent vacation: three weeks of web tickets and zero replies. That silence turns what could be a five-star fridge into a two-star headache. Yes, it still nails the temps and looks sharp in a narrow space, but build-quality lapses, shipping damage, and ghost-town customer service make it hard to recommend. ... show more
