I have another one of these wine fridges that I use for wine but I bought this one for a regular drink fridge. I took out a couple shelves and use the upper compartment and bottom for upright storage of cans. The wine racks work great for water bottles and sport drinks. This fridge keeps my drinks cool and refreshing and my regular fridge is no longer taken over by beverages. Whether one uses this for wine or for other beverages, I think people will really like it. I bought it because the profile of was perfect for putting in the space I had. It is just the right height to fit under my counter and the right depth as well. The width is about as wide as my kitchen trash. It has dual zone cooling with individual controls for temperature. The interior has a light that makes it easy to see all the way to the back. My wife and I snagged this wine fridge, and it's been a game-changer for our limited space. The dual-zone feature is a huge plus, letting me keep reds and whites at their ideal temperatures for serving. We've found the touch controls to be super easy to use, and the interior light adds a nice, elegant touch when we're picking a bottle. It's also surprisingly quiet (but not silent), which is great since it's in our main living area. The only real downside is the bottle fit. Wider bottles, like some pinots or champagnes, are a tight squeeze, so we have to get creative with placement, which sometimes reduces the 27 bottle capacity (shelves are designed for three, but sometimes only fit two). All in all, though, we feel the quality is excellent for the price, offering great value without breaking the bank. Under $500 is not cheap, but it adds a high-end feel to our lifestyle. It's a sleek unit that keeps our collection perfectly chilled and looks great doing it. I have found Nutrichef to be a middling brand. They definitely do not make junk, but their products sometimes get mixed reviews. It's large to store enough bottles even for when I have several guests over but it is also slim enough to not take too much space out of my room while adding a modern look.
