Why did you pick this product vs others?: This is a very reasonably priced 1lb propane tank refiller that comes with a stainless steel braided line, so it should last longer than a regular hose. The addition of the fuel gauge is nice. both the 20lb and 1lb nozzles are easy to attach, and the metal on/off handle works well. I could recommend this product, especially because it will reduce waste and make the 1lb propane tanks last longer.

PRO: The flexible hose allows for placement of my green 1lb tank where you like, as compared to rigid models where you have to have a place to set the inverted 15lb tank with clearance for the 1lb tank to stick out. Gauge is easily readable. All connectors and valves moved freely. The extra tank caps and nylon tape was a nice touch. CON: No instructions. It took a lot of watching YouTube to fully understand how to make this work (i.e., PULLING the green 1lb tank vent valve to release the vapor to allow room for the liquid propane). VERDICT: A handy product that saves money using larger common propane tanks to fill your 1lb tanks.

This refill adapter works exactly as advertised and is a huge step up from the solid adapter I was using before. The flexible hose makes it way easier to connect the 1 lb. tanks without having to hold everything perfectly still or upside down like I had to with the other style. The built-in gauge is a great bonus. It's super helpful being able to see how much propane is left in the tank before I start refilling, and I can check the levels at a glance instead of guessing. Only downside is it doesn’t come with instructions, so if you’re new to this kind of thing, you’ll need to watch a couple of videos online to get the hang of it. But once you do, it’s straightforward and saves you money in the long run. Overall, I’m really happy with it. Solid quality, works well, and makes refilling those little bottles a lot easier.

I have seen similar items in the past that did not have a hose and it looked difficult to use. This one has a nice 3 ft stainless steel hose to make the transfer much easier. The fittings are really nice on both sides and I expect them to last forever as long as I store the product well. Since I currently don't have any empty 1 lb tanks, I have not attempted a transfer of propane yet, but I attached the ends to a 1 lb tank and the 20 lb tank and they were secure. This will hopefully save me money over time as well as adding the convenience of being able to refill at home. Great for the environment too since I will be able to reuse the tanks that in the past I have just discarded.

This is a very flexible setup. The connections are tight when screwed together. The flexible house allows the table to both be situated however best. The gauge indicates when the tank is full and empty based on when the valve is open and closed. The manufacturer includes two metal caps for the 1 gallon tank to replace the black plastic one that comes with most tanks. This makes it easy to mark the status of the tank. There is some leakage during the screw on and off procedures, so it is absolutely necessary that the tank filling be done outdoors in good ventilation.

Easy set Hose makes it easy to set bottle on a table and fill from Did several 1lb bottles from a 20lb bottle in just a few minutes. Be nice if there was some sort of stand to invert the 2lb bottle from, but made it work Keeps my smaller bottles handy for short jobs Cheaper than always buying new 1lb bottles

This is much easier than my previous adapter. The 3’ hose allows you more flexibility in where you refill. The gauge is easy to read and the on/off valve is easy to turn. It comes with 2 brass screw on bottle caps to protect your cans. Overall great product. Highly recommend
