I’ve had a couple of issues. However, Simond Store has been very helpful in resolving my issues. My forge showed up with some rust. I contacted them and after talking back and forth about the rust, they offered to replace it. However, I decided to just sand and repaint it myself to save time. I fixed it and then applied the rigidizer. Not sure if I did something wrong but it was thin and didn’t go far enough. I ran out and still had about 25% uncoated. So again, I emailed Simond Store and asked for info on the rigidizer so I could order the same stuff. Just got an email this morning that they just shipped me another bottle. I simply asked for the info so I could order it. Their customer service so far has been excellent. Thanks Simond Store for being helpful. Once I use the forge, I’ll update. But it appears to be good quality and I don’t foresee running into more issues.

Does the job. Pros: Unlike burners supplied with some other forges out there, you can control the airflow with this one. You can also turn off one burner and run it as a single burner for smaller work. Cons: burners point straight down at your work creating two distinct hot spots, haven't had an issue with it as I have been doing smaller pieces, but could see having to move the work around to try for an even heat in larger pieces. The gauge on the regulator is practically useless. Where I have the regulator set the gauge reads zero pressure and I have a very robust and energetic flame. I haven't tried forge welding so can't speak to it being able to get that hot.

Gotta say I thought this wasn't gonna be all that but it was. It came with everything you need to get started except the metal.

The forge unit was easy to assemble and seems well designed. The Refractory Coating provided was not enough to adequately coat the unit. I contacted Simond Store concerning this. They said they would provide a second supply of the Heatguard powder. This has never been received (after several weeks).

Great product. As described. Ordered this as a temporary replacement to my larger forge (currently getting a rebuild) easy set up and use. Packaging was damaged, bent pipe and broken fire bricks(not reflected 100% on the seller, more on shipping co) I have extra fire bricks and the pipe was straightened out without worry. This little forge is a beast and has been keeping my work flow moving.

The media could not be loaded. The psi gage came damage but the sell sent a replacement at no charge. So they stand behind there product. This is what you expect for the price and will work for everything I need. Watch the video.
