This watch is nice, does what a watch is expected to do (so far anyway), but I was not prepared for how large the face is. I'm a small-wristed person and it basically covers the entire width. I was concerned that the leather band might not be adjustable enough for my small wrist (another review mentioned this), but the last loop is close enough for comfort and it's possible to add new holes if necessary. I use this product to tell time. I like the large numbers -- easy to read. My previous watch displayed the date - very small, hard to read, had to be reset five times a year. I like not having to reset the date because there is no date to reset.

I was looking for a simple wristwatch for casual wear. While this watch is simple, easy to read and inexpensive, there were several features that did not meet my expectations. The size of the watch is large - almost 2" in diameter - which makes it easy to read, but was much larger than I had anticipated. The strap is designed for large wrists. Even at the last hole on the strap , the wristband is loose for those with small diameter wrists. There were no instructions included, so it took me a minute or two to find and remove the small cardboard tab that prevented the stem of the watch to be pushed in which is necessary to power the watch. If you have a large wrist and are looking for a large watch, this might be a good choice. For those who have small wrists or are looking for a standard sized watch, this may not meet your expectations. ... show more
