So I have been in search for a beautiful turkish type rug but found the real ones are extremely expensive and out of my price range. I stumbled upon this one and saw great reviews. I decided to get it for my small living room (size 5x7). I will do another review when I have some more furniture and have texted out the carpet for a few weeks. So I was a little disappointed when I unrolled the rug. It is a little thinner and I put a lot of books down on it hopefully it should flatten out in a few days. Not sure if I will need a slip mat underneath because I will eventually have a coffee table there. Pros: Super fast delivery, literally came in 1 day, easy to assemble good price and unique design Cons: colors not exactly how I wanted. For some reason in the light they are more of a pastel type color. It definitely doesn't look high quality up close and in sunlight. I'm hoping that will change once it flattens out and gets some more wear. The material feels a little cheap but again, for the price it's good and looks unique. Only thing that's sticking in my head is someone in the comments mentioned it looks like Barbies Magic Carpet and now I can't get that out of my head lol. It does kind of remind me of that in the light because of the pastel type colors. However, I happen to like barbie and am a 26 year old art teacher on a budget so it's good enough for me. I would say if you are putting it in a really dark room you won't be able to tell even from my photo you can't really tell. Anyway my cat likes it so far and it's growing on me. This rug is gorgeous in person! My sister wanted something that reminded her of a Turkish coffee shop she had visited. Her and her husband absolutely love this rug. Every time I see it at her house, it makes the room so bright and colorful, which I love. The colors are so pretty!

I am so happy with this rug that I would do backflips and cartwheels if I could. It looks as good as a rug that cost many times more and, in my opinion adds a touch of class. I remember being so awestruck when I was a kid when we went to a "rich" lady's house where the floors were covered with what we called "oriental" rugs. This rug has that look in a small way. It was originally ordered for our furnished rental condo living room. There is a pretty lime green/chartreuse chair in that room that just did not work with this rug. So, I moved the rug to the master bedroom that has a white down bedspread with navy blue and white pillows and it looks fantastic! I have also ordered the eight foot runner. I love this rug. I had been searching for years for a rug inspired by a Turkish pillow cover I have that has a variety of critters as part of the pattern, but I didn’t want an antique or wool since I have cats. This is everything I could want! My two cats are determined to destroy it, but it maintains its integrity very well and is very easy to keep clean. The navy rug has more of a deep muted pink shade (cerise) than red. The yarn is durable, does not shed, and the rug does not look inexpensive. Unrolling at the ends does take some time. This rug came in today. The colors are a little noted faded than the pictures but I still like it! It’s not very soft, but I do not mind. Overall, I think it is worth it for the cost.
