Years ago I wanted this and my husband vetoed it and we got something else. We recently moved and are redecorating so I pulled this up again to show him and he said yes. I am so happy he did. First of all - this rug is SO soft, so thick, and so comfy. Our dog loves it. Our niece loves it. It’s really a favorite. The color is bright and cheery. It instantly laid flat when we got it. It does shed a bit so just keep that in mind for the first few weeks you have it. Overall, we are so happy with how bright and cheery this makes our living room. If we could do it over again, we would have bought this the first time around when I wanted it.

The rug is gorgeous, thick, and soft. However, it has been losing some fibers and that’s without me even vacuuming it yet. I’m actually kinda scared to vacuum it. Also, when stepping on it barefoot there are some hard pieces sticking out here and there. At first I thought I dropped something but after investigating I realized it was actually some glue stuck onto some of the tufting that wasn’t secured to the base properly. I’m assuming it’s those few looser pieces that are coming out. Hopefully it lasts because I love it.

I was on the fence for a couple months before buying this rug! Then said eff it and bought it as a birthday present for myself and I looove everything about it! It was shipped wrapped in a very thick plastic wrap. No tears or holes or anything that looked suspicious. Originally it was going in the bathroom which I thought would fit even after I measured(got the 3x5 rug), but failed to realize the door couldn’t clear the pile height, so it’s new home is in the living room! I love how colorful it is because it totally goes with my house. I love how fluffy, soft, fuzzy it is! My six cats roll all over it and love to pounce on their toys when they’re buried in the fur. I purchased a 1/4 inch rug pad for underneath it just to give it extra cushion and to protect my wood floors. It’s perfect. I don’t walk around barefoot in my house but I will slip my shoes off and rub my feet and toes through it LOL! I’ve had it a little over a month(paid $75) and maybe a total of 10 fiber hairs have come out through natural wear and tear. Or because the cats are playing on it, but it’s nothing that I’m even remotely worried about. A cat puking on it is more likely to happen than me allowing anyone or myself to walk on it with filthy shoes 🤣🤣🤣, so I’m not worried about it getting dirty at all. I’ll spot clean it if anything happens lol. I shook it out last week and all is well. If you’re on the fence like I was and have prime, do it! You can always return it!

Let me start by saying the colors and the softness are amazing when you first get it. The rug itself is beautiful for where I have it & adds color the room needed.. however, it sheds like no man’s business. I thought it would stop after so long but I got this rug in late February, it’s now June & the rug still sheds non stop. I’ve also only had the rug for 5 months & it isn’t near as soft anymore where there’s any sort of foot traffic & it’s impossible to fully vacuum. I could deal with the impossible to fully vacuum thing if the rug was still soft & didn’t shed out consistently. As beautiful as this rug is, it’s very disappointing that I’ll be having to get a new rug when I haven’t even had this one for a year & spent a pretty decent amount on it. I’ve gotten plush rugs for half the price with more foot traffic that lasted better. It’s going to be incredibly difficult to find a rug that matches all the pillows I have that go with this rug but I’m on the hunt. As much as I’d love to buy this rug again to experience how incredibly soft it is when it’s brand new, I refuse to spend that much on a rug I’m having this many issues with at only 5 months in. If you plan to have this rug in a space that doesn’t really have much foot traffic & you don’t mind constantly having to vacuum up chunks of rug that have shed out then it’s probably the perfect rug for you. Otherwise, don’t waste your time or money just to have to replace it in not even 6 months.
