Baby's age when started: 6 months Using for: 2 weeks What I love: • Softer mouthpiece - This is a game-changer! Much gentler than the Nuby cups we tried. My daughter took to it immediately with no resistance. • Truly spill-proof - I can hand it to my 6-month-old without worry. No leaks even when dropped or thrown (and trust me, it gets thrown a lot!). • Easy grip design - The handles are perfectly sized for tiny hands to grasp independently. • Sesame Street characters - Elmo and Cookie Monster are a huge hit! My daughter gets excited just seeing the cup. • Durable construction - We have multiple NUK cups and they've all held up great to daily use and frequent drops. One minor downside: • Gets heavy when full for a 6-month-old. I fill it about 3/4 full so she can manage it better on her own. Bottom line: After trying similar designs from other brands, these NUK cups win hands-down thanks to the softer spout. My daughter transitioned from bottle to sippy cup seamlessly. Would definitely buy again and recommend to other parents starting the sippy cup journey!

Great Sippy Cup for sensory needs!

I have purchased this brand for years, and the premium quality has remained the same. My 4 year old uses these cups for sensory purposes, and she specifically likes the slit at the top of the spout. It allows for the perfect amount of milk to come out, without the milk leaking. The handles are a great size for her to hold the cup as well. I like the smaller size of these cups, because I can easily stick them in my purse or jacket pocket, when we are traveling. The spout does eventually start to crack if the child continuously chews on it, but otherwise it is a strong product. We have tried similar brands, but my daughter specifically likes the weight of these cups, the size, and the spouts. Will continue to purchase!

Favorite cups!

NUK cups are our favorite! The white stains easily with sauces and certain foods. Doesn’t really wash out. Doesn’t spill and easy for a first cup! Overall great quality.

The bottles are decent but the lid needs improvement

It’s, in fact, leak-proof, which is good. My 5-month-old is drinking from it easily, so I believe the flow of water is good also. The price for 2 bottles isn’t bad at all. However, it came in a plastic bag. I expect stuff like this to be packaged in individual boxes. Especially, baby products. One more downside is the lid. The quality of the plastic used for the lid is terrible. It seems very fragile, and it feels as if it could break; it can easily cut or hurt your baby’s tiny fingers seriously.

Perfect size for little hands

We really love these cups! My eight-month-old granddaughter is starting the transition from breastfeeding, bottles, and breastmilk into the next chapter of drinking milk and water from a cup. These have been wonderful for helping her learn. I especially love the small size. Four ounces is just right for her at this age—not too much liquid, not too heavy, and easy for her little hands to hold with the handles. The soft straw is also a nice transition from a bottle. Such a great little cup for this stage!

The best transitional cup for babies

I bought this sippy cup for my grandson to help him move away from the bottle, and it has honestly worked incredibly well. He seemed to figure out how it worked almost immediately, and I think that soft spout made a huge difference because it wasn’t such a harsh change for him. The handles are a nice touch too—they have a good grip that doesn’t slip out of his hands, but I like that I can eventually take them off once he gets more confident. It feels very durable and has handled being dropped on the floor more than a few times without any issues or leaks. It has a nice, clean look to it and doesn't feel cheap at all. For the price, the quality is definitely there, and it’s just been a reliable, frustration-free addition to our daily routine. I’ve always found this brand to be trustworthy, and this cup definitely lived up to that.
