I've tried at least 10 sets like this and this one is the best I've found. The fork is sharp enough to actually pierce and pick up food, which not being the slightest bit dangerous for little hands/mouths. The angle of the handle is great and my daughter has been able to handle it well. The slope/depth of the spoon is deep enough to actually carry food without it sliding out. The fork is great. As others mentioned, it’s a spork, so it holds a decent amount of food, and allows a child to spear many (though not all) foods without being sharp. I’ll purchase a sharper one when my child is a little older. The spoon, however, is close to the size of an adult teaspoon, except wider, and therefore too large for my toddler’s little mouth. Cleaning is easy, except they should be rinsed immediately after using, as food can get caught/stuck, near the handle. I also like that the actual spoon and fork are metal vs plastic. Finally, the price point of these is fantastic, less than 1/2 or 1/3 the cost of similar sets. You can’t go wrong. ... show more

We’ve bought so many utensils but these are my son’s favorite. We had started him on those training utensils but the handle often restricted him from being able to maneuver the utensils how he wanted to. Not a problem with these utensils. The handle length is the perfect size for any bowl or placemat we have used at meal time. The fork has just enough edge to pick up most food that require stabbing. The spoon is wide enough for all our meals and snacks. He holds these spoons and forks most confidently and has learned to eat very well because of them. These are such wonderful quality and my daughters new favorites. At 13 months we are still trying to figure out her preference for utensils and the starter spoons are starting to become obsolete sinew she has been using them since about 8-9 months. Seeing as she has 10 teeth(working on 12 by mid august 2020) we wanted to find something she wasnt going to demolish like she had done with the silicone, she does not chew on these at all, not even the handle! I've tried a few utensils for my one year old son. So far these are my favorite. He can hold them easily. He hasn't quite got the hang of feeding himself yet, but these are great for learning. Also spoon is shaped well for little ones. I enjoy that it looks a whole lot like a real spoon and fork that he can get use to for later down the road. Easy to clean and safe. Absolutely love this set!! My daughter was able to pick up food with them and make it to her mouth by 13 months!! I like that the fork has rounded prongs, and the handles are easy for her to grip!! 5 stars!!

My 20 month old son loves these! I think the color is cute, the handle grip is perfect for toddler hands, and the ends of the fork are not pointy, but they can still “stab” food to pick it up. Ordering two more sets actually!
