After using Nu finsh my 13 year old car looks new again. All the stains and and dullness have been washed away. The finish is beautiful. I had washed, compounded and waxed my car with an orbital polisher many times. And yes, I recieved decent results from my efforts. It usually took an afternoon of hard work to achieve this. I can't speak to the longevity .. I've been using Nu Finish car polish for many years, and it never seems to last nearly as long as they claim .. they say a year, it's more like a few months. But it goes on SO easy, and looks great. I just tried this new stuff .. I wanted to try the "Better Than Wax" part of it. I checked with the manufacturer, and was told I could put it over the polish, so I did. It went on easy, looks great, and seems to have given me a better level of protection, so I'm satisfied. I have used this product since it came out in the 1970's and it works well and is easy to apply and easy to remove, as long as you keep it off rubber and plastic. It removes moderate oxidation and will last one year if you apply to separate coats. I mix the scratch and swirl remover to the Polymer (not a wax) and they now have a spray on Ceramic coating applied after was vehicle and then can apply Polymer over it when dry. Does not take as long as most Ceramics to dry, but in humid environments may take slightly longer. It can be applied on dry or wet surface. The Polymer can be applied in direct sunlight, but do one section at a time because it dries quick. Like said I have use this over others tried since the 1970's when introduced as the first over the counter Polymer and used on my Fiat spider 2000 convertabile. ... show more

According to my brother, who's very experienced with polishing cars, this is the best product for that. It's not a wax, and it's very wet, so it spreads easily. The only drawback, is the strong chemical smell, which for some unknown reason I continued to smell, even 19 hours after I had polished my car with it. I've been using NuFinish 35+ years, since when I was a child and helped my brother in law restore a Chevy S10 that sat in our driveway for years and was amazed by it's performance. Hover over the years I learned that the paste that come in the bottle just wasn't the same, it had to be their simi-hard product they sold in the round can. This is the paste from the bottle just squirted into a can, not the same, does not work 10% as well ... show more
