These igniters are like light bulbs in that they have a limited lifespan. Judging from the shape of the components, this model seems to be of slightly better quality than other models. It works fine.

2012 stove replacement part. My stove broke down before the holidays, just as I was preparing for a major kitchen renovation. I didn’t want to spend $350 on a repairman. I’m not very handy, but after purchasing this part, I found it was a direct plug-and-play replacement. I removed the oven door, but it wasn’t necessary—I could have simply pulled the stove out.
