The media could not be loaded. I bought 2 for my nieces. Pink and purple. These are great remote cars for girls, they are beautiful, cheap and sturdy. They are not fast but i consider this a good thing as they are not going to crash them much in the first month. These are more "climber" type than "speeding", so they have front and rear motors that allow them to climb 30 to 40 degrees slopes. Besides that, the smoke thing, which is a water mist sprayer are a nice touch, beware of water getting spilled on the rear motor. The remote control is easy for kids and has the same color of the car. We put some necklaces so they hang the remote controls by the neck.

Description alleges "LED light", there is no LED light. Package alleges "easy to repair twith our available parts", none are available. Also; return-to-center springs in steering are very weak, tires are narrow and much too firm. Motor/axles geared far too high to be a "crawler". I bought 2 and combined them to get 4 wheel steering, only needed to re-pin the plugs for the rear axle to spin the right way, and the rear steering to oppose the front, also made a Y-adapter for rear steering. Also used the body and wheels/tires from an over-priced 2wd mini-clodbuster copy, used the centers from the "crawler" wheels to adapt the "monstertruck" wheels to the crawler axles, used some scrap plastic to mod the "crawler" interior to fit the "monstertruck" body. It works ok, "monstertruck" body needs a bit of trimming to clear the front axle steering servo, or maybe a body lift.

Well made real 4x4, battery life is very good and two batteries included so when the first runs out just install the second. Though at his fourth birthday today this car was played with many kids throughout the day (outside) on just one battery.

My 4 year old is loving this RC Monster Truck (when it works)! And he has yet to break anything on it since receiving it for Christmas. That is saying a lot as my little guy seems to be good at accidentally finding ways to break toys (I keep saying I need to vest in super glue). I like that it seems rugged. It can start to climb a vertical surface and sometimes do a cool roll over and land back on it's wheels. It seems to have a good suspension that I suspect also reduces the risk of broken plastic. The drawback and reason for three stars is the batteries. Every time we turn around, the provided battery located in the actual monster truck is dead after what feels like less than 1 hour of intermittent use. The truck comes with two batteries that charge via USB ports (thank you for a backup battery!). The instructions state the USB charger lights up red when battery is charging and then turns green when complete (2-3 hours). We followed the directions to let the motor cool before charging. We've charged both batteries 3-4 hours (at least twice each) and we have yet to see any green light. The light on the USB charger starts out as a bright red light and then quickly turns to a dim red light and stays that way until we eventually decide to unplug it. I'm not sure if this means the batteries are not receiving a full charge? The other thing I noticed is the red indicator light on the remote controller is sometimes solid and other times it blinks. The box did not include any paper instructions and I didn't see an explanation for this on the box itself. There is no consistency for when it blinks (eg we've seen both blinking and solid when trigger is in use). And the batteries we installed into the remote controller were brand new Duracell batteries. I suppose there is always the possibility we could be dealing with a faulty remote controller aside from the battery green light charging issue. I have experienced a few instances where we thought the Monster Truck was dead and then after turning the remote off/on and pulling the trigger a few times, the Truck starting going again. It really is a neat RC Monster Truck and it it weren't for the battery/questionable remote, I would not hesitate to buy another or give it as a gift! Maybe if the manufacturer reads these reviews, they can offer some feedback on what to do!

Bought 3 of these for my son's. 2 have tested good. But 1 is trash. When I opened it's box. The instructions were all crinkled up and the Twisties holding it in package had been redone. The prongs on the battery connector were bent. Tried to straighten them and got the battery to go in. But no power. I tried all the batteries from the other 2 cars and still no power. The other 2 cars work with every battery. So I got 1 defective car that seems to had been used before. I bought 3 to give to my son's on Super Bowl Sunday, February 12th. Now I'm short 1. One of the other cars might have been opened before too. But there doesn't seem to be any problems with it. Something told me to test them before giving as gifts. That's the way most products are these days. Quality control has gone down for years. As with a lot of customer service. UPDATE UPDATE - I contacted the company and they responded quickly. They just asked for purchase information and sent me a new RC truck. This new one runs great and I know my son's will enjoy. The defective one wasn't the sellers fault. But they fully took care of me as a customer. And we have 3 of these trucks running excellent. Anyone who buys these will get a bargain for their money. Grass - gravel - dirt - even up a 4 foot plastic sliding board. They GO ! Not just with the product. But the customer support and service goes the the distance if needed too. Buy more than one and have fun with friends and family. Thank you,NQD And NO, I did NOT get paid for this review. I got a good product and great service.

This was great for my 6 year old son as his first remote control car, since it didn't go too fast and was easy to control, plus can go offroad. Unfortunately, after a couple of months of light use (maybe an hour a week) the remote control stopped working (sometimes it would work for a few seconds, or work going forward but not back, or turning left but not right). I emailed the company but got no response. Maybe I just got unlucky, but I'm not going to gamble and buy a second one.
