I purchased this a little over 4 years ago after my $3000 power base broke. I was so furious with the short lifespan of something so expensive (lasted 7 months) and after the manufacturer couldn't seem to care less, only being told in an email after a month of pestering them, they only told me to have someone repair it and submit the bill for partial to full reimbursement, IF they felt it was a covered failure. Ultimately I was lucky enough that the store I had leased it through would come and get the garbage at no cost and no penalty, and just waive the remaining payments, I decided to go this route. I actually attatched sheer curtains around the bed, allowing my dog to feel more comfortable at night. For some reason she doesn't like sleeping out in the open on the bed. She would rather sleep in something that represents a tent. Despite being made out of what seems like sub-par metal tubing, once put together properly, it is surprisingly sturdy. It has taken years of abuse, being taken apart and moved to 2 new apartments, it is still going strong. The coating on the pipes are durable, and easily cleaned. I can pretty much just bounce around and it hardly move more than any other bed would. For the price, it's unbeatable. Now that I am moving a third time, I've decided it's time to go another route, but I can't say that I regret it. None of the tubes that support the mattress have bent, none of the tubes over the top have bent (except during one reassembly when it slid off one post and bent on the end where the tube is flattened for the bolt hole) and it was easily bent back, and surprisingly, did NOT break ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I’ve always wanted a canopy bed. However, many of them are expensive so I I’ve found this one and decided to give it a shot, plus I needed to upgrade to a king size anyway. For the price it’s great! Only cons are that it’s noisy when you move around and I don’t like the stickers on the bars at the top. The stickers are extremely hard to get off without leaving a mark. Assembled the whole frame weighs around 5lbs or so it's very very light weight sounds good for moving it about but moving it about also it doesn't hold firmly together, the poles for the canopy make the bed very tall but one of the poles of mine were not drilled properly so I was unable to assembled the stunning feature of the canopy top. I now have a standard bed with exposed post that are on the headboard & foot board as I can't assemble the pole posts & canopy beams so I have to come up with some other way to live with this feature. The bed can be assembled mostly alone the only issue you need is a really high step stool to get up to the very high poles to screw in the bars that will go down vertically so if you are not tall you won't be able to reach it it feels like the poles are 7ft in height once put up. The color is a matte gold not a vibrant gold if you have to name a color tone it's more along the lines of a golden rod or vintage gold tone. If you plan to keep your box spring with this bed be warned it raises the bed up I'm 5ft 2in and it's at my hips if that helps you it is so high the upper main mattress is a good 3 inches above the foot board and nearly as height as the head board area the only plus to this increased height is it made putting the sheets on very simple and most the blankets can just fall over the foot board area but now I need to get step stool. ... show more

I think it's perfect for what I wanted! It was pretty easy to assemble with the help of my brother. (It's best if two people put it together) The frame itself is pretty sturdy and the color is nice. The only down side is that they put warning stickers on some of the pieces I can't Pell off easily.

TL;DR version: Pros: Bed is pretty, simple, and seems to be sturdy. Easy to put together IF you have the right pieces. Cons: Mattress slides on the cross pieces/supports. Top bars of the canopy will only support lightweight items. Manufacturer is IMPOSSIBLE to contact for issues, so you better hope your box comes with all the right pieces and that you don't have issues down the road. The manufacturer issue is the only reason I gave it 3 stars, otherwise would be 4. Full review: This bed frame is pretty in it's simplicity--no frills, nothing fancy. My daughter bought the queen size for her room and it definitely fits her personality: feminine without being "girly" or childish. We chose the white finish which should coordinate well with about any color scheme. It was fairly easy to put together (with the exception of one issue, which I'll get to in a minute). It seems sturdy and so far no rattling or squeaking but I suppose time will tell. I think the manufacturer must have got the feedback about some people having issues with the center bending/buckling because there was a supplemental page in the instruction book about adding a center support that the original instructions didn't include. Also does not need a box spring or board underneath the mattress for support as the cross pieces are close together. The negatives? -The mattress slides on the cross pieces. I'm not sure how to mitigate this other than getting some of that stuff you put under rugs to keep them from sliding and putting it between the mattress and cross pieces. -If you are wanting to hang anything heavy (like more than a pound or two) on the canopy bars, this is not the bed for you. You could probably do some lightweight/sheer bed curtains or some leafy garland or something, but no hanging plants, lots of clothes on hangers, gymnastics, or enthusiastic "extracurricular activities." -The biggest negative is that it is absolutely IMPOSSIBLE to get replacement parts from the manufacturer. Because of the way it is put together, the holes for the bolts are pre-drilled and all you have to do is put the right size bolt in the hole and tighten with the included allen wrench. However, the box we got had two pieces with the holes positioned for one end of the footboard instead of one for each end, though one was labeled "C" and the other "D" (both were "C"). There is a package insert that says if you are missing parts, contact the manufacturer at such-and-such a number or online. I tried both. Called multiple times, never could speak to a person. Tried online, got an email saying they had received the request and would send the part, but it would be delayed due to COVID. However that was back in like April and haven't had any communication since. That corner of the bed is currently held together with zip ties and a prayer. ALSO, just be aware that if you do need to contact the manufacturer, you will need info off the labels on the box, so I would recommend taking photos of all the labels on the box before opening so that you have the info you need. ... show more
