The sky blue is pretty and the book feels sturdy. The pages don’t rip out easily. The quality on the book is excellent and the paper quality feels nice to write on. Pages are thin, 100gsm. My regular pen leaks through or is visible on the next page and has become annoying. Also, the dots do not align from page to page and are crooked on some pages. I loved the concept of numbered pages and a table of contents, I haven't seen that in many journals and is the reason I purchased and for the 3 stars. Unfortunately, 16 pages into the journal I have reverted back to my old journal. Wouldn't buy this again.

I purchased the Daolen Dotted Classic Notebook Journal in A5 size with a leather hardcover, and I was initially excited to use it for my daily journaling and note-taking. The notebook boasts 160 numbered pages and 100 gsm premium thick paper, which seemed perfect for my needs. Plus, the 5.5" x 8.15" size is just right for portability. However, upon using the notebook, I found the paper quality to be quite disappointing. The 100 gsm paper is advertised as being premium and thick, but it was noticeably thinner than I had anticipated. This affected my writing experience as I noticed some ink bleed-through and ghosting on the pages, which is frustrating when you're trying to keep your notes clean and organized. Despite the attractive leather hardcover and the convenient inner pocket, the paper quality is a major drawback for me. I had high hopes for this notebook, but I'm left feeling disappointed by the thinner-than-expected paper. If paper quality is a top priority for you, I would recommend looking for another journal option.
