I’ll admit it: I was not a believer in buying a mattress online. Sure, lots of people swear by them, but this was one purchase I wanted to see, feel, and try out in person. I decided to give it a shot, though, and I am SO glad I did. The Novilla 14-Inch King Memory Foam Mattress is one of the best purchases for my sleep that I’ve made in a long time. It arrived wrapped up nicely in a box (how they even get it in there is beyond me), and after about 2 days of the mattress expanding, I was ready to go! It had no weird smells, and it looked like a cloud of comfort was waiting for me. The first night I slept on it, I knew this was a great purchase. It was just a perfect combination of soft and supportive. I’m a toss-and-turner, and this thing really absorbs my pressure points but doesn’t make me feel like I’m sinking into a swamp. Also, I find that I wake up in the morning a LOT less sweaty than in the past. It’s awesome, especially during those steamy Texas summers. This mattress also has a couple of other nice little perks. The cover is removable and washable. I have children and a dog who all want to climb up and make this their throne, so that’s come in quite handy over the past few months. The only complaint I have is that it might be a LITTLE bit firmer than I expected. But it’s not super hard or anything; it’s just on the firm side of the medium-firm scale, I think. But it works for me (and my back has been loving it as well). All in all, this is a great mattress. It’s comfortable, it keeps you cool, the cover is easy to wash, and it didn’t break the bank. NEEDED MATTRESS URGENTLY Honest review for this Mattress Size: Queen Mattress Thickness: 14” Feel: Medium Firm Sleep Position: Mostly back, some stomach, minimal side. Needed this mattress urgently due to moving. Previous mattress was a +$2K Serta memory foam for ~7 years. I was moving and my last mattress was shot. The edges were flimsy, the middle has a huge indent. I am 6ft 1in, 250 lbs. I sleep ~80% on my back, so I need a medium firm mattress. Received this Novilla with the specifics above. I let it decompress for 8 hours. It reached over 13.5 inches within this time. Put a mattress protecter, fitted sheet, and my blankets on it and laid down for my first night of sleep. The mattress was on the floor, no base, frame, or box spring. First general impression: No smell at all. After decompressing no depressions or uneven spots. Corners were sloped a little, but for the price and comfort I will not complain. First night’s sleep: The feel is medium firm. I had a great first night’s sleep. I am a dense person, so I sank into the mattress minimally, it provided great support for my hips and shoulders. I have had 4 shoulder surgeries, so not having my arm go numb in the night was a huge positive! Compared to my Serta, this was a great experience. My Serta had worn out. This mattress wasn’t as hot as my Serta either, I sleep hot in general. Overall for the price this mattress was exactly as advertised. The only reason I am giving it 4/5 is because I have seen many reviews stating after ~6 months the mattress forms depressions where the foam does not rebound quickly. I can’t speak to this but if I remember I will update. If you know you need a medium firm mattress, you are on a budget, and need it delivered quickly (24 hours, thanks Prime). Then don’t hesitate, this mattress will keep you sleeping comfortable for the foreseeable future. ... show more

I don’t like super firm beds, so I was nervous ordering online, but this one has a really comfortable cushioned feel without sinking too much. It feels medium firm but still soft enough to sleep comfortably all night. The top layer feels cozy and plush while still supporting my back. I wake up without soreness and sleep much better now.
