I had let the mattress compassed so that it can return to it's original state for at least 3 days. However, while it was compassing, it was on the wrong side until after I had realized it. So you have to give it time to compass and be patient. It was in my living room for a couple of days. Then once I thought that the mattress was fully compassed, I had pushed it into my bedroom and lay it on top of my box springs. I wish on the ends of the bed that it was firm like in the middle, but it's not so I had to get use to sleeping on it. However, the mattress feels nice, soft, and comfortable to sleep on better than my other mattress which was a regular mattress. It's not a squeaky mattress and it's very silent. I think it was nice that the bed came in a box which was so convenient, however; I had a hard time taking off the wrapping that the bed was held together with. So be extra careful if you are using scissors because you don't want to poke a whole in the mattress. I highly recommend this mattress because it's high quality, and to have a good night sleep!!!! ... show more
