Item was packaged very well and arrived on time. Unpacking was easy with provided tool and the mattress will expand on its own. The instruction says it takes 48 hours for the mattress to fully expand but mine was ready way sooner than that. After a few nights of sleep I found this mattress provides great support for back and hip with the medium firmness. My old mattress has became too soft after years of use and this is a huge upgrade for me. I used to wake with back pain but that is no longer the case! I also like the gel memory foam that keep the mattress cool, I usually get hot while sleeping and now I am able to sleep comfortably in the right temperature, I don’t think I can ever go back to regular memory foam. This is a great mattress for its price and it is well worth it for a good night’s sleep. ... show more

I bought it for the guest bedroom and slept on it for a few nights. I require a firm mattress or my back gets sore... this bed is on the softer side. Hence medium-soft.... not medium-firm. Can I sleep on it without soreness...yes, BUT... this bed is best for side sleepers nit people that sleep on their back. If you require a firm mattress this is not for you. However... it is a comfortable bed. I had a guest visit for 10 days and she reported it was a little soft for her as well. This bed did fully inflate on all corners within just a day... and it fits ok on the full platform. No weird smells but off-gassing will occur with these materials, so maybe open your windows and let it breathe for several days if possible. ... show more

This Mattress Is Awesome! We bought it for my daughter and boy does it live up to its reputation! It took about 12-14 hours to fully rise to the 12” depth. Immediately after un-packaging, it fell right into place and we could tell that the quality was superb. Such a soft, comfortable mattress to just sit on, let alone sleep in. We purchased this mattress at the end of December 2023 and had to order a new mattress yesterday. It is extremely hard and has caused a pinching sensation in my hip. My husband had 2 back surgeries and Dr recommend a firmer mattress and this has caused pain in his back & had to go back to chiropractor!! Worst mattress ever! Save your money!!! I wish we would have returned before deadline in April - just kept hoping it would get better. Now we are out $400! ... show more

After sleeping on this mattress for the past 4 months I can definitely say this has been such a great purchase. I have searched high and low of both high end mattresses as well as different brand mattresses in a box. Novilla is 100% the best brand to go with on Amazon but this model specifically is the winner. A firm yet soft supportive sleep. The mattress has held up so well and has yet to lose its shape. Definitely go for the 12 inch as it offers the highest quality and support. The mattress is comfortable, it takes about 5 days to fully raised. I gave her 3 stars because when they folded the mattress they stretched the cover of the mattress and it had a permanent wrinkle that is uncomfortable otherwise I will have given 5 stars
