Just wanted a better sleep experience. I have had this Novilla Queen memory foam mattress just over a week now. I am absolutely thrilled with this purchase. This was to replace an 8 year old Sealy Posturepedic. This mattress is not as firm as my old traditional Sealy mattress but I find myself waking up in the same position I fell asleep in which in my opinion means I was comfortable. I have been waking up refreshed and not tired at all so I know that I made the right choice. My mattress came rolled, condensed and wrapped in a box. Had very little smell at all. Almost smelled like the new car smell. Didnt even notice it after I woke up 1st night on it. I allowed it to sit and expand on my old box spring which I thought was fine at the time, we will get into that in a minute. I only let it expand 24 hours before sleeping on it. What I did notice is I felt a slight dip (& I mean slight) in the middle where I sleep whereas I am the only one on it at the moment. Nothing that affected my sleep pattern but I did some research with other brands of memory foam mattresses that suggested not to use a "spring fitted" box spring which is what I have. (some are built solid with no springs or give). I decided to throw 1/2" inch plywood in between mattress & box spring which totally fixed the problem. The dip feeling was being caused by the box spring not the mattress. The directions say you can use box springs, wooden slats or a solid platform. I have put a full size carpenters level on the mattress now to see if the dip is there, premature wear or if the mattress is not level in some spots. Comes out perfect every time. The only negative I have found online using a solid platform or in my case a piece of plywood, it does not give the mattress breathability. I do get warm when I sleep and I do not notice any heat being thrown back from the memory foam as some people do complain with these types of mattresses. I do see the zipper and a label that says removable. I have not done it myself yet but a good option. There are other brand mattresses like this one close in price that I looked at that had complaints of removing mattress cover and exposing their home to dangerous fiberglass dust. Later, they found a tag somewhere on the mattress that said " do not remove". Glad this does not have that problem. This mattress is so much cheaper than those very expensive ones you see on TV. I took the chance and I'm glad I did and save some money. I Hope to get many years of use out of it. Just an additional tip. Don't know how Amazon feels about endorsing other brand products so I won't mention the name but that pillow guy on TV! Always thought it was a gimmick. I orded a set anyway. That was the icing on the cake to add to this new sleep system of mine. Just a suggestion, get the extra firm blue label not the flimsy standard ones. This completed it for me. Very recommendable mattress, let’s take it apart first, it has no smell, and there are no creases after laying it on, and you can feel the rebound effect very well without collapsing when you lie down. The support of the mattress is very good. When you sleep on it, you feel like your whole body is being supported. The waist and spine can be well supported, and you can sleep comfortably. No matter how long you sleep, the mattress can rebound and return to its original shape after getting up. The back is made of breathable mesh, which can effectively prevent the mattress from getting wet at night, and keep it fresh and not feel stuffy no matter how old it is. Waking up is very refreshing and relaxing, sleeping is very comfortable, the appearance is very atmospheric and high-grade product, the mattress is very beautiful overall, the fabric is very textured, the air permeability is good, it is soft when sitting, soft but not hard when lying down, the support is very good, there is no back pain, it is very comfortable and natural, and it is much improved than my original spring mattress. I've had that bed for over two week now i can tell other people this is the best mattress that I have ever owned，My previous mattress always made my back hurt every morning when I woke up. This is why I chose a new mattress，Originally, I didn't have high expectations for the comfort of this mattress, but the fact is that the comfort of this mattress far exceeds my imagination. It may be a bit soft for me when I first use it, but after using it for a day or two, you will find that it is obviously elastic, but when you lie down, you will feel like you are lying on a cloud. Comfortable, but it can effectively support you and your body. For me, this size of mattress is just right, not too big or too small. The seller was very careful to compress the mattress when shipping, but I just got the mattress and it has not been dismantled. We purchased 2 of these 8" mattresses for our 10-years old daughters. They are super comfortable, and breathable when pared with a bamboo mattress protector. When my husband and I sit on their beds, we can feel the wood of the platform underneath them. Not a lot, just a little. In our experience, the 8" works great for kids and teens. I am so very impressed with this bed. 6" Twin. Not too soft or too firm. Seems like just the right bed for Goldilocks. Holding shape great after two weeks, and withstanding children jumping on it from bunk bed..... not recommended but in my home seemingly unavoidable.
