February 9, 2026 Before purchasing this product I saw that there was 1,800 reviews and it had a 4.5 star rating. I read some of the reviews and they seem pretty good. Well I purchased this mattress, unfortunately I would have to say I was very disappointed. I ordered a 12 inch FIRM queen size mattress, the mattress in fact was only 10 in and height ( See photo), I let it expand for 24 hours before use. The firm mattress was not very firm it was Medium at best. I sunk right in almost 4 inches. It was very uncomfortable for my back problems. Now I have to return it. The edges are very soft when I sat on the edge of the bed I sank all the way down to the bed frame. But this is just my opinion out of many, I hope this review helps.

Was super comfy when we first got it. We chose the firm one. At 8 months my husband and I notice substantial dips on the sides we sleep at and it’s hurting the back now. Will have to buy another mattress after having this one less than a year. We didn’t use a box spring, we have a wooden slat support bed, like most modern beds, that doesn’t require a box spring. We also used a 3 inch gel topper since the day we bought this to preserve it as much as possible. Maybe 3 months ago we removed the topper because it was too soft. In that 3 months, this mattress sunk significantly.

The firm feel of the novilla mattress provides perfect amount of support for my back and spine. I wake up feeling rested and without the aches I used to experience with my old mattress. This mattress is outstanding with respect to pressure relief. It eliminated the discomfort I used to feel earlier in my hips and lower back. It’s firm but the memory foam layers gently cradle the body so that it’s not like sleeping on a hard surface. The motion isolation is fantastic. I no longer feel that my partner is moving around at night . It’s staying surprisingly cool throughout the night .The foam layers are doing a great job of regulating temperature and I haven’t experienced any overheating. It’s a good balance of comfort and breathability. The removable, washable cover is an excellent feature that sets this apart. I love how easy it is to unzip and clean the cover . The mattress arrived quickly in a compact box and setup couldn’t have been easier.It expanded fully within a few hours and there wa very little initial odour and has been functional within hours. It’s perfect for back sleepers , stomach sleepers, people with back pain who prefers a supportive firm mattress. This mattress delivers on all fronts.

6 month check-in... This mattress has been amazing in fact I want to upsize to a firm queen 12 or 14in and there currently unavailable. Its held out great since we purchased in January 25, super comfy great on my body during my entire prgnancy this mattress feel likes a firm but soft plushy cloud. Con for me is that the washable slip cover easily gets dirty or stained and after a wash or 2 you will notice little lent balls start to form which can be a pain to remove or just deal with them. Overall our family loves it would purchase again

I purchased the 10 inch firm version. Unboxing was simple. It came tightly rolled in a box (which still blows my mind), and once opened, it fully expanded within a few hours. No chemical smell, just clean and ready to go. As for the sleep experience: if you like a firmer mattress with real support, this one hits the mark. I used to wake up feeling like I’d been wrestling in my sleep. Now, I wake up rested and without that dull lower back pain. First time ordering on mattress online. This mattress exceeded my expectations. Ordered it for guest that were coming in for the holidays and they loved it.
