My son is 6’3” and 180# and still growing. I needed a new bed that is medium firm to support his frame, but still give him the comfort he needs for a good night’s sleep. He’s an athlete, so his body is sore a lot and he needs a nice mattress. I read a million reviews before deciding on this Novella mattress and he said it’s even better than my $3k mattress! We put it on top of a king mattress in the guest room and released the plastic so it could take shape on a flat surface. We left it alone for 4 or 5 days. When we went in to set it up, it was fully inflated to 12” and felt like a normal mattress from a full size box. The edges even seem supportive to me, which is everyone’s concern when they buy a bed in a box. We bought a heavy duty metal platform bed frame and don’t use a box spring. This bed is heavy, so make sure you use a box spring or solid platform frame or it won’t hold up. It’s only been a week, but so far he loves this mattress and says it’s his favorite on the house. That is actually saying a lot, because two of our mattress were several thousand dollars each. I’ll update if anything changes, but so far this is an excellent purchase and I recommend it for medium firm comfort, quality, and price.

This bed is comfy. It's definitely not firm so if that's what you need, skip this particular one. The middle sags when you lay down but if you like that cocoon feeling, you'll like this bed. You can also feel the springs a little bit. But it's well worth the price

Bought this mattress over 2 months ago. Great sleep along the way to present. Very comfortable, no back pain! When sitting by the edge, I feel sank into the bed; while when laying down and sleeping, I got great support for each part of the whole body. The top layer is soft and comfortable. I placed the whole mattress on top of my old one. Very good support. The mattress was shipped in a roll. Very heavy. It came with a little cutter with hidden blade, which is the right tool to open the package without cutting through the cloth. There will be a slam opening from the stored energy in the springs. So be careful and place the roll in an open space before cutting out the plastic package.

This is mattress comes super compact. It’s folded on itself in a narrow box. You have to give it about a day to fully form before using it. For me it’s the perfect combination of firmness and thickness. My large dog sleeps on the bed with me and it doesn’t cave in like some of my other mattress have. It’s a great price for what you get. It tends to stay pretty cool and doesn’t retain heat. My dog over heats quickly and used to jump off the bed because he was so hot. Now he stays with me all night.

The media could not be loaded. This bed is more impressive than I could have imagined! I needed to replace my current bed I was sleeping on for probably a few years now as I got it secondhand and it essentially had no support anymore. This mattress from Novilla has been like a night / day difference. Coincidentally, right before I ordered this bed, I was slowly trying to recover from a back injury, thus the need to look for a new, better mattress. It was delivered in tact, EXTREMELY well wrapped and vacuum-sealed. There were like three layers to get through to get to this mattress! Unlike other mattresses, you don't have to open this up in the room you want to set it up in. It does weigh a great deal when compressed, once expanded it is very easy to maneuver. After carefully, CAREFULLY removing the plastic, make sure to stand clear of the ends, anyone helping, too, as this will most likely burst open suddenly. After that, you just need to place the mattress on your frame and add your sheets. Thin as the mattress is, it's firmer than I expected, giving me ample support for my aching back. My dog took to it right away and has even been sleeping longer on the bed with me (usually he jumps on and off frequently). The springs keep me supported from head to toe at any angle I want to rest on the bed. I am sleeping soundly and not ruining my back any further. This came right on time and I'm so very pleased so far!
