Mattress is really comfortable, however, it being a memory foam and medium firm, i feel like its too soft for my liking, I've only had it for abt a week so I'm still testing it out, but I can already tell im gonna end up buying another one thats a bit firmer....again, nothing wrong w the mattress, its just me and how I feel abt it, mattress is great if you like a bit of firmness and softness combined....i like mine more firm than soft, that's all....but overall, no smell when it was opened or anything, took only a few hrs to reach its full size
