The mattress was packaged very well and had no noticeable odor. After leaving it for 72 hours, it became very comfortable. It’s on the softer side, and the support for the lower back is just right. Purchased in May, 2025 for our guest cottage. I looked at a lot of reviews, mostly for memory foam mattresses, but kept coming back to this one because of the existing reviews. Main reason I purchased based on reviews: -Soft but not unsupportive -Fully expands (since shrinkwrapped) -Budget friendly Feedback based on guests using for 2 weeks: -Soft and supportive -Very comfortable -Little to no noise Negative aspect based on my experience and guests using: -Edges/Corners are not firm for sitting on (for example to put on socks and shoes, or just to sit) My MIL who is in her 70s nearly flew off this thing when she plopped down on the edge, lol. We have it on a metal platform bedframe without a box spring, so I'm not sure if a box spring would eliminate some of the major sinking on the edges? I likely won't purchase a box spring unless I find one that's a good deal. If so, I can report back. Overall I'm very happy with it, especially for the price. It is more than adequate for guests but if you are looking to purchase for yourself and using every night, definitely read through the reviews to determine if it's right for you.
