Flavor Name: Nail Buffer Block
Although I didn't order these for my fingernails or toenails, I found they did work well for my natural nails. I can't comment on how well they work for nail or gel polish. However, these worked very well taking a callous down on the edge of my big toes, yet a different buffer with finer grit made more smooth more quickly, these did work well. I have hammer toes, and I tend to roll to use the toes' edges when I play the bass pedals on a full pedal board on my organ. These are re-usable and washable; however, I would only advise such for home use, not public/professional use if using for nails. They are disposable, double-sided, washable, and a fair price for the quality and quantity. I bought to use with wooden model building as these have useful grit surfaces and a convenient size for me to be able to hold with my gnarled, arthritic RA fingers, plus saves time—i.e. I don't have to make my own blocks, as I had been doing. I was gluing different grits to different 2”x 3” blocks. These nail buffers are about 2-1/4” x 1” --a very convenient size for my wooden models—especially burr ticks from removing laser cut parts from their wooden sheets, if there is room and boat hulls for a beginning sanding before requiring a finer grit for the final sanding before or after painting or staining and a final sanding of clearcoats. In reference and comparison to usage other reviewers are getting for a manicure/pedicure, I used for a 9”x 1” high x 1-1/2” across bottom, and 2” across width/beam of deck of a wooden boat hull to sand in preparation to stain. I could comfortably get enough use for the entire hull, including sides, bottom, and deck using just one side, one grit of the buffer. Could get more use if only small touch-ups or if only a light sanding needed. One picture shows I am using to sand tick burrs off wooden parts when the block will fit; otherwise, I use a small emery board or emery board cut to a point to get inside the small slots. This grit grade for tick burrs works just as well as a finer grit buffer, but there was more quantity with these 80/100 than the finer grit by a different company for the same price. As well, the 2nd picture shows a hull sanded with the 80/100 buffer before staining. For what I am using these nail buffers and the convenience of not having to make my own sanding blocks, the quantity, re-usable, washable, disposable, and price point, I give 5-stars.

Flavor Name: Zebra Nail Files
Generally I like to keep emery boards, or nail files, scattered around in case someone ends up with a broken nail or a snag. It always seems like these things happen when you least expect it so it's nice having them stashed everywhere. This package of boards will last me forever! There are 50 and they are twice the size as the little cheap ones I have bought at the dollar tree in the past. They are thick and do not really bend but are still small enough to fit in my wallet, purse, pocket, lunchbox, etc. I guess they have a slight "zebra" pattern but if you are buying them hoping they will be decorative they are really just two tone gray. They work great for me and I am happy to have extras laying around for when one gets lost.

I ordered the 10 pack of colorful files, because I was interested in trying the curved shape. The files themselves are a very nice quality. They are thick and strong, and they file well. The curved shape is interesting, and I found myself ending up using the straight edge, probably because that is what I am used to. The grit is a little coarser than I would have liked, as I have natural nails and they are on the softer side. So the files work well for quickly trimming my nails down, but I am not able to get a totally smooth edge. This is not the fault of the file, I just need files with a higher grit. I am sure these work wonderfully for acrylic nails and harder natural nails. The storage case is great!

I like to do my girls’ nails and mine on my own to save a little money. Getting our nails done costs about $70 for basic gel mani/pedis. So it’s a no brainer for me to spend a few hours every few weeks to do them myself. $200 can buy me a lamp, a variety of gel colors, tools, tips, a drill and these buffing blocks. These blocks are a perfect fit for my hands and I can get both kid’s nails done with just the one. I am no pro, I couldn’t tell the grit was different on either side until I read the other reviews. Lol. But for a disposable item, I think the price is right. A 50 pack like this will last a while!

These are way too soft to be 80/100 grit. They're buffers, so they're doing as buffers should BUT if you're in need of 80/100 grit you won't find that here.

These nail files are very sturdy and nice. They file false nails very well as well as your regular nails. They are easy to hold and make doing your nails a much easier process. Can be used at the salon or home. Good value nail file set.

These nail buffers are easy to use and are more flexible and contour to the nail better. They work quickly and can be used on acrylics or any fake nails. You should get several uses from each block. I figure about 10 manicures before all the sweet spots are worn away, then they work great in the shop for detailed work.
