I ordered this (6.5'x9.5') rug because I thought the colors/pattern was beautiful and would go well in my living room. I have different pillows for each season, and wanted a rug that would compliment them all throughout the year. I think this one does just that. It livens up the whole room and makes it feel cheerful and happy. I was a little worried about the finish of the carpet, as I have cats that love to sink their claws into my rugs (as opposed to their actual scratching posts) However, I was very pleasantly surprised to see that this rug does not have any special texture to it. It feels just like a soft, short carpet. This may be a downer for other people looking for some texture, but I love it. The rug did arrive with some bad folds in it, but after rolling at backwards and stretching it out, it is fine. I did purchase some sticky pads separately to place on each corner of the rug to ensure it didn't move. I would recommend doing the same. I originally found this rug online at Target during a rug sale (Jan 2023). Their "original" list price was upwards of $500.00 for this same exact product. I checked Kohl's website and it was the same. Not sure why the price is hundreds of dollars different, but I am glad I didn't buy it for that much. ... show more

An avid Prime shopper, this has been one of my all time favorite purchases from Amazon. If you are hesitant because the price is actually reasonable, there really is no need. Proceed without caution! I especially love the shorter length of the pile as it does not indicate when it was walked on or vacuumed. I have purchased two runners so far. The first was during a Today's Deal special and I kick myself now for not buying several rugs during that deal. (I have not seen it featured since sadly) As soon as I can afford, I will buy at least one more small rug to go in front of a door and I am considering purchase two larger area rugs, one for the parlor and another for the office. It goes very well in my home which has Early American hardwoods, ultra white chunky baseboards and walls painted silver which tends to lean toward the slightest tinge of either blue, green, or violet depending on the season or even the hour of the day. Celestial Watercolor is exactly the "POP" of color my neutrals needed. I do not currently have children or pets in the home but I have in the past and I feel this would be a great choice for young families as it does not show daily wear and tear, nor does do the threads "pull" like some low pile carpets tend to. I'll work on taking some photos for reference and add them here. Many compliments received in my space although really, I love them so much, it wouldn't matter if anyone felt the same! I will likely keep this rug because I don't want to deal with the hassle of returning it and it has a beautiful color. However, rugs are a hard thing to get online and I took the risk. Here are the pros and cons of this purchase from my point of view. Pros: Beautiful and vibrant colors Decent price Packaged well for shipping Cons: Had an odor for about 3-4 days Very thin Corners still not laying flat after putting heavy things on them for several days - this causes potential tripping hazards which can be a safety hazard, especially for kids, seniors etc. Summary: This rug gets 3 1/2 stars from me. While this rug is beautiful, it is also very thin. Because I'm using this like a decorative piece over an old drab carpet the thinness is not necessarily an issue. However, with that said, the corners of this rug still has not laid flat after several days and it doesn't take much to make it begin to curl up. I caught my foot on it as a result when walking by which could have ended up in a fall. Additionally, it's been annoying to have to move and arrange pieces of heavier furniture around this rug to try to flatten it out on the corners. This issue was mentioned in another review and depending on your situation could lead to safety issues if you're not careful so it's something to seriously consider. If the corners are going to be out of the way in the room you place it, you may not care as much. Mine is in the center of my room, not to the corners, so this matters. If the rug does not lay flat after 2 straight weeks of having heavy things on it then I will have to return it due to safety. Hope this helps. ... show more
