  • Exactly what I wanted
I bought this because I planted a row of 50 seedling trees and needed something mobile and large enough to keep them wet. I put it on a Gorilla cart and hold it in place with nylon tie down straps then pull it with my small tractor. It made the job so easy! Also, there's enough pressure that I was able to attach a soaker hose and leave it in the garden. You do need an adapter but that was no problem. Very convenient for any job that's not close to a hose. Love it! ... show more

  • poor quality
The tank is two plastic pieces that have been fused together. My tank had a hairline hole that caused a slow drip. I stopped the drip with some plumbers putty to avoid the head-ache of a return swap.

  • So far, justbwhat I hoped for
It is difficult to rate a product that is intended for long term use the week it arrives, but from what I can tell after unpacking this tank, it looks like what I was hoping for. I am building a solar shower and wanted a 35 gallon tank that would hold up well. This one looks sturdy, well made, and functional for that purpose. No complaints at all after one week without having mounted or filled it. ... show more

  • Exactly what I expected
I ordered this for a rural water source, using gravity to create the water pressure, in a semi-permanent camp site. The top opening is great, and the bulhead at the base is just what I was looking for. Finding a valve and piping was a snap. I used galvanized steel pipe on both sides of a gate valve, then a flexible washing machine supply hose to connect to 1/2 inch copper distribution piping. It did the trick, and the capacity is enough to create basic pressure without encouraging overuse of the water. Just what I was looking for. As for shipping time, The tank was shipped almost immediately. The moderate shipping price is due to the size, of course, which also means it was sent parcel post. Parcel post is not trackable, so no shipping updates. But mine arrived on the first day of the estimated arrival window. I think it was about a week, with standard shipping. I am very happy with this purchase. ... show more

  • Great for irrigation
I am using this in the back of my pickup to carry water from my city house to a weekend place, to water my small garden. It holds just enough water to deep-water my vegetables and keep them going through the week while I’m gone. It’s full weight is heavy but I can still slide it around on my bed liner. Currently I’m looking for a good 12v pump to run a couple of small sprinklers over the garden instead of having to stand there and gravity water. Any advice on such a pump would be appreciated. This is a solid tank. Would recommend ... show more

  • Works good for the deer lease
This tank works great for my use. I am using this tank to supply water to my FEMA trailer that I have parked at my deer lease. We do not have running water on the lease so I have to haul water every time I go. I fixed a ball valve from the tank and plumbed the ball valve to a pump and from the pump straight into the trailer. I run the pump on a generator. Now I have water for the toilet and shower. Almost a 5 star resort now. My only complaint and reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5, is the thread on the drain was slightly damaged when I received. But after a little filing and teflon tape, it still works with no leaks. ... show more

  • Don’t forget to purchase a spigot
Bought this to use for horse camping. Best purchase!! You will need to purchase a spigot to attach on the end so you can get the water out easily- we found one at our local hardware store.

  • Darrn good tank!
We boondoggle at 7500 feet in the mountains. Our trailer is 12 volt solar off grid and we have a 35 gallon water tank. I set this up with a ball valve and a hose adapter. Using ratchet straps I mount it to our utility trailer and park it at the top of the hill. I use a hose and gravity to transfer the water to the trailer. The cap has a one way vent to allow air in. This is very well made and has survived high temps and UV. Nothing like being able to take a shower after working . :) ... show more
