Been desperately trying to find a lip stain that doesn't bleed, isn't frosted or glittery, isn't too garish in color and is easy to use! I followed other reviewer's advice regarding putting it on at least a half hour after moisturizing, blotting it right away (unless I want a less-natural look, it tones it down), then waiting at least 5 minutes with my lips open to let it dry. At that point, it does feel like it might be making my lips dry, but then I apply the clear shine (or another color of gloss to create a custom color, or just my little cherry lip vaseline) and the whole thing stays on all day and looks great! Im approaching 60, and as you get older your lip lines start fading. I've tried all sorts of lip-liners, but NONE of them stay on, and I do not have the time to "prime" my lips then Line them with a liner, and then go back and outline that with a corrector pencil, then apply stain, re-line, apply setting spray, apply gloss, etc. This is just a one and done. I can put it on first thing in the morning and let it dry for 5 while I'm getting dressed, put the gloss on and I'm out the door. Don't even need to take it with me- it lasts ALL day. The colors were a bit concerning at first. I got Wish Upon a Berry for more of a neutral color/similar to my natural color, and I got Kiss Fatal, a deeper purplish-plum. My lips are naturally a medium plum shade, so both of these colors look nice, even with my pale white skin. I tried layering them- let the darker on dry then applied the lighter one, and it looks great! Highly recommend this for the colors, longevity, price and the I Don't Have Time for all that shit factor!! Will add photos later. ... show more

I had been feverishly searching for a lipstick that really would last as promised, only to be met with disappointment time and again. So, I was prepared for the worst with this order BUT was pleasantly surprised to find it actually lives up to its description! This is the first time I've used liquid lip coloring like this, so it took me a while to adapt my technique. At first, I would rub the wand into my lips like regular tube lipstick but found I was accidentally smearing the lip coloring above and below my natural lip line (think "clown" lips). Once I started lightly applying and letting dry for a minute before applying gloss, all worked very well. As for the color of this one ("I'll Call You"), the pink is a little too vivid for my pale skin, so I'm topping with a buff color. But, I like the lasting feature of this lipstick so much that I've ordered two more in lighter shades. ... show more

I find that most long-lasting lip stains dry your lips. This one is no exception, but it comes with a gloss that moisturizes and does not impact the staying power of the color. You'll need to exfoliate your lips prior to applying for the best results. And you will want to reapply after eating. Color: Kiss Me You Fool Size: 0.14 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
Reviewing Kiss Me You Fool shade. I wore this lipstick while eating a greasy turkey leg at a festival…and it actually stayed. No transfer, no feathering. I didn’t even feel the need to touch it up after eating. I could probably end my review right there. But I’ll add that beyond the impressive wear longevity, I do like the finish of this lipstick. I initially wore it without the gloss topper, wanting more of a matte look, but found the pigment too sticky on its own. With the gloss, however, the stickiness is gone. And it isn’t a high-shine gloss, either; it’s slightly shinier than a “satin finish,” but not too much. I do have to apply a couple of layers to get the depth of color I want, but I found that to be true of every liquid lipstick I’ve tried. Good pigment, nicely opaque, not sheer. Compared to other matte “ink” lipsticks I wear often, I haven’t had the same problems with pilling/flaking or uneven, chunky applications with this one. It also doesn’t snag on my lips if they are a little dry. But fair warning: you must use “waterproof makeup remover” with this. My regular cleanser didn’t even smear it. This has become one of my favorite reds to wear, and you can’t beat the price. Wear it and eat greasy foods with confidence, y’all. ... show more
