About what I expected. They were a very tight fit and I had to remove the bolt and basically stretch it around the end of the bumper and then squeeze it back together and tighten the bolt. Very thin so be easy or you may get it warped to the point you cant close and latch it.

Nice item but needs to have a left and right. I wanted to mount them both with the bolt between the rv and the bumper so you don’t catch anything on the corners

These patriotic flag RV bumper end caps are great! They are well made, include all hardware, installed easily, serve a practical purpose, and look good. Everything you can ask from a product…these deliver. I’m a very capable DIY’er, but even a complete novice shouldn’t have any trouble with these. They’re quite simple. Just slip them on, and tighten the bolt and nut assembly. One even comes completely (but loosely) assembled, so that the end user can see just how they go together. The kit also includes some thick, rubber/plastic type adhesive strips that state they are for use to prevent scratching the bumper tubing. I suspect they are actually for use as a spacer, should your bumper measurements be slightly smaller than industry standard. My trailer bumper is the standard, and the fit was actually slightly on the snug side. I had to make sure the hardware was very loose, start the cap frame onto the bumper tube, then tap it with a screwdriver handle. I’m good with that, feeling comfortable that they'll be snug and won’t slip off. Once the fasteners are tightened the caps are quite secure. I had been thinking of making vented end caps that were fastened in place to replace the push-in rubber caps that are notorious for falling out. These saved me the trouble and I really like the appearance. They’re a very fairly priced and great alternative to rubber or plastic caps. Great product!

This set of bumper covers slide over the outside of the bumper, as opposed to the rubber covers that slip inside, giving you an access door rather than having to take the whole cover off. It's a nice design and looks much better than the rubber covers too. Out of the box these come with everything needed to get them installed and installation take only a few minutes. Anyone at any level of DIY can install them. The kit comes with stick on rubber pads to help with fitment and to prevent scratching the bumper. The pads are actually a really nice rubber, but on my 4x4 bumper the rubber was too thick to use for mounting. I actually had to take the mounting bolt all the way out and flex the aluminum a bit to get them on, but they fit fine once they were on it was simple to tighten the bolt down so they don't go anywhere. Materials are surprisingly nice. Especially the black paint/powder coat. It's thick and smooth and has a nice matte finish. The flag design is also a nice touch. I have two small issues with these covers. 1) As many others have stated it would be nice to have a left/right pair, as the mount bolt stick out from the bumper on one side. 2) The carabiner provided to keep the door closed leaves a lot of wiggle room for the door to rattle around. It hasn't been an issue so far, and may never be, but the carabiner is so light duty I fear it might break at some point. I'll probably replace it with a proper metal pin that fits better at some point. Overall these are a great deal at under $30.

Great Aluminum RV Bumper End Caps! Very impressed by the quality. I picked these because they are Aluminum and in this location and for this purpose, I believe Aluminum is a perfect fit. My old plastic ones kept popping off and I do not like the way they look. The quality is very good. Well built. Powder coated. Even the carabiner clip is aluminum. There is a stainless steel cable that holds the carabiner to the bumper cover. I added a little thread locker to the nut to hold it in place and tightened it down with a driver. Very easy to fix into place, but I did need a hammer to pound it onto the bumper. These aluminum bumping end covers sit outside. The previous end caps sat on the inside. The larger louver size defiantly allow air to circulate more freely on the inside, helping dry any hose faster. They are easy to open and also easy to lock.
