Description

Happy Campers — Easy and Affordable Happy Campers holding tank treatments offer a powerful and cost effective solution, based on cost per treatment, for eliminating odors and breaking down waste in RV black and gray tanks. Unlike enzyme-based treatments, Happy Campers uses a mineral-based formula that works effectively even in extreme temperatures and prevents clogs without harming your plumbing. It's trusted by full-time RVers for its reliability, long-lasting results, and ability to keep tanks odor-free—even during dry camping. The key is to make sure your black and gray tanks are clean prior to using, otherwise your maintaining a tank that already has problems and this won't make you a Happy Camper. Always start with a clean, fresh tank prior to treating with Happy Campers for odor free travel. If you're experiencing recurring RV toilet or black tank odors, dirty tank sensors, heavy buildup, or flushing problems that don't improve with routine maintenance or holding tank treatments, your holding tank may need a deep cleaning. Happy Campers Extreme Cleaner is designed to remove years of accumulated residue and help restore your holding tank before returning to regular maintenance with Happy Campers Holding Tank Treatment. Use 1/4 - 1/2 Container per tank cleaning with hot water. If your tank problems continue after using Happy Campers, the treatment may not be the cause. Persistent odors, inaccurate sensors, or poor tank performance are often signs of an underlying issue such as existing buildup, inadequate water usage, a blocked roof vent, or a compacted waste blockage. Identifying the cause can help restore your tank and get you back to camping. All of these issues can usually be corrected by deep cleaning the tank, unless you have a blocked sewer vent (check). Happy Campers helps break down waste and most regular home toilet papers to support smooth waste flow and cleaner tank emptying and more comfort for your bottom. Unlike products focused on rapid liquefaction, our goal is long-term tank performance by helping reduce residue that can contribute to buildup, odors, and sensor problems. The result is cleaner tanks, easier dumping, and RV adventures without tank problems. The proof is what comes out of your tank and not left behind. Happy Campers is unlike the rest of the RV and marine holding tank treatments available. It's mineral based micronutrient treatment specifically formulated to work in extreme temperatures both cold and hot just like the places RVers travel in summer and winter. • Best tank treatment I've found for smells.
Size: 64 Count (Pack of 1)
My family and I have been seasonally camping for 8 years now. When it comes to black tank treatments we've tried quite a few different ones. We started with those convenient lavender pods that did almost nothing. Eventually, I switched to happy camper and used it for years with great results. Recently, I was watching a video on YouTube that was doing a head to head test on several methods. It showed Happy camper not really breaking down solids like a couple other brands did. So this year, I used the last of my Happy Camper and bought liquified rv tank treatment in Orange scent. It definitely does break down the solids as advertised but unfortunately, for the first time since we started using happy camper, the black tank smell has returned. This never happened with Happy Camper. With that said, I kept my tank pretty clean and still do today. Every couple weeks doing a deep clean. Smell still persists. I'm going back to Happy Camper and I'll save the Liquified for an occasional clean of the black tank walls. If you're on the fence, go with this RV tank treatment. You can flush out solids, harder to flush out smells. This stuff rocks!! ... show more

  • Happy Campers made this grown man cry.
Size: 18 Count (Pack of 1)
I have been living full time in my RV for about a year and a half now, and I have tried everything under the sun to fight back at the assault on my nostrils every time I flush my toilet. I’m talking heavy, toxic, nose hair burning, stomach churning stench worse than anything I have ever had the displeasure of encountering in my lifetime. NOTHING WORKED. Until now!! I’m kicking myself for waiting so long to try this product. I saw it was heavily recommended and I was a fool to set it on the back burner for so long. I’m honestly in disbelief. I had given up hope and just assumed I could never invite anyone over due to the constant embarrassing sewage smell that infested my trailer. Happy Campers has truly changed my life enough to make this grown man cry. There’s not even a hint of stink in my home now and it even cleared the dreaded pyramid that was forming in less than two days. I couldn’t be more pleased with this purchase and am happy to pay the price for such an incredible product. Thank you so much for making this camper happy!!! ... show more

  • 5 year usage review.
Size: 64 Count (Pack of 1)
I have been using this product for the past 5 years, months and months of use and dozens of tank dumps. It is exceptional. I don't know how it works but it does and it works very well. 5 stars without hesitation. I add a full scoop to 3-5 gallons of water and add it to the black tank (and often the grey tank as well) prior to every use. We strictly use rv toilet paper. There is a total of 5 people using our rv toilet, myself my wife and 3 kids. We do use the RV toilet for #2, especially the kids. We have a rule where we use additional water to flush a #2. I use a black tank rinse nozzle (built into my RV) after each dump. After 5 years all of my tank sensors still work perfectly. We have never had an issue with foul smell or odor, even in hot weather. No toilet issues whatsoever. (TMI warning) I have a clear elbow which I use to dump the tanks, so I see what comes out. It looks like chocolate milk, and I don't see any noticeable solids bigger than about an inch. I never see any TP either (which means it is completely broken down). I think these results speak for the effectiveness of this product. I highly recommend it (along with degradable rv toilet paper and a little extra water with each #2 flush). ... show more

  • Not sure why you are reading this, and not just buying Happy Camper? Seriously It's THAT good!!!!
Size: 64 Count (Pack of 1)
40 Years ago I started camping. I have owned pop-ups, converted school buses, park models, tag alongs and truck campers. Black tank odors have always been just a little bit of a problem. Not so much that you could not use the camper, but definitely an unpleasant welcome when you opened the door to the little room. A few years back I purchased a slide in camper for some more personal use and was not pleased with how the tank smelled. I have gone through all of the chemicals at Wal-Mart and the camper stores. I have flushed, cleaned, thrown bags of ice in there, you name it. Odor was always worse when the tank was just emptied. There was obviously trapped debris in the corners someplace. On a whim (And by reading the reviews) I opted for a small tub of Happy Camper to see what it would do. (That was my mistake. I should have gone ahead and ordered a whole case to make sure I had plenty on hand, as I have shared it with the rest of the world) I went for a triple dose the first time and flushed it back with a pail of fairly warm water. Drove around for a little bit and made sure things were good and mixed up. Then filled the tank from the garden hose. Following day I went to the local dump station to see what we had (This station is a dump ramp, not a tube. So you get the privilege of seeing everything one more time) I was shocked that I saw liquid. Almost entirely liquid. However it was severely discolored from what I know was in there. I was a little confused about the content. However went through my process of starting the tank back up again. I have never had a tank odor SINCE! I have also not seen solids coming from my tanks EVER!!! Fast forward 3 years of What I would consider abnormally heavy use for a non-full time RVer and my toilet valve decided it wanted to wash the back of my head for me. It was immediately following a heavy weekend of camping with 5 people using the "Facility" inside my slide in. I got home and realized that it was broken and had to be replaced (For anyone that has not had to do this. The toilet has to be removed from the 4" hole in order to change that valve) I had not dumped yet and did not have the time to get there before hand. Thought I would suck it up and just deal. I unbolted the toilet from the unit and with GREAT hesitation lifted it off of the gaping hole in the floor that leads straight into the black tank. Being prepared I was going to jam something over the hole as soon as possible to minimize the gag factor. (This was mistake number 2) To my immense surprise. there was NO ODOR from my tank. I mean NONE! There was more odor from the dirty floor than there was from the tank. To test my theory I left the hole open overnight while waiting for my part to come in and replace it. Hesitantly the following morning, I reached for the door of the slide-in figuring that I was going to be assaulted by a nose full of nasty. NOTHING, NADA, ZIP. If I could invent Smell-A-Vision, this would have been VIRAL! Open black tank, 24 hours in the summer and NO ODOR inside the camper. I have been singing this stuffs praises for 3 years not. Have probably given out 50 - 60 doses to now believers and will never use anything else. EVER. A previous poster left a very detailed description of how to prepare a tank. Given those instructions, you will be a much happier camper. This is a snippet from a user named "The Honest Truth" This is NOT MY LIST, Although I have always followed it pretty closely with a couple of minor changes. This is foolproof in my experience. --Snippet from The Honest Truth 1. Dump only when tanks are 2/3 or more full. I try to get mine s full as possible by adding pure old tap water if necessary before dumping. The more water will certainly always help move any sediments. 2. There has been zero odors of any kind using this method. 3. You can use any brand of toilet tissue you like using these instructions. It truly liquefys everything! 4. Has worked for myself and friends in all temperatures below zero and 110+ climates. 5. I think you'll be quite happy with the results and please pass it on to other RVers if you get the chance. 6. Sensors make take few cycles to begin reading properly and to be clean enough to read properly, but it will happen. I hope my experiences help a few folks out there. Have a good day. --End Snippet. Good Luck and Happy Camping. ... show more

  • This is the one that works
Size: 64 Count (Pack of 1)
Have camped for decades and used many failed products. This Happy Camper really works to keep odor down . When tank is near full it will start to smell and will smell while dumping more product could be added if you have to wait to dump a 3/4 or more tank. Overall it is the best we’ve used. We use it when State Park camping or when we don’t have sewer on site. We also use it when traveling. When we have sewer on site we use our tank rinser and don’t need products. ... show more

It works period. I use this wonderful product on my boat that has a 60 gallon holding tank. I live on the boat during the summer and pump out once a week. There are absolutely no odors. I recommend Happy Campers to everyone at the marina.
