Finally decided to buy some hiking boots after realizing I’ve fallen on every single hike I’ve done in the past. I got these boots since they were super cheap and they are wide foot friendly! Didn’t have to size up at all, as an 8 fit me very well :). The boots are secure at the ankle which is nice too. They were very comfortable so I didn’t need to break them in that much. Funnily enough my first hike with these included a bunch rock climbing and I didn’t fall once so I think that’s a plus too LOL. Very cute, price friendly, and lightweight. These hiking boots run true to size and are comfortable straight out of the box. Day 1 my sister and I hiked up Little cottonwood canyon out in Utah neither of our feet hurt during or after. The boots are rigid and durable and held up well. I especially like the rounded tips at the bottom for stability. Her and I really enjoy these boots and recommend them. Very comfortable. Helps with ankle support. Wore these to hike at Rocky Mountain National Park. Hiked multiple trails and inclines, my feet felt good and did not hurt afterwards. They are also waterproof and warm!

I love these! So great and cute for the price, fit a wide foot just fine..I just wish they had a second hook at the top, the tongue sticks out and the ankle needs more support, but considering these hiking boots were under $40 I'm not complaining. I don't hike a lot or long distances so these work well for my needs and they are cute. Feels true to size, but they are a little roomy to allow thicker socks. This is an honest review. No affiliation or commision. I bought these boots for a trip to Iceland. I wanted a budget-friendly pair of quality hiking boots without paying for a big name brands. They turned out to be one of the best purchases I made for the trip. They were comfortable on long hikes and provided excellent ankle support on rocky and uneven terrain. We experienced all kinds of Icelandic weather. Rain, mud, wet trails, and windy conditions and my feet stayed dry the entire time. The traction was dependable (which was also important), and the boots felt sturdy without being too heavy. For the price, the quality exceeded my expectations. Based on prior reviews, Amazon recommended I order size 9.5 instead of my usual size 9. I ignored that suggestion and ordered a size 9 and they fit perfectly - like any other size 9. I added a $15 set of Dr Scholl's insoles and the boots feel comfortable and sturdy. I am breaking them in now with no discomfort. Update: I wore these all weekend for strenuous hiking in rocky, muddy, wet/running water rough terrain for hours at a stretch and they were awesome and very comfortable. My footing was solid, my feet stayed dry, and while the rest of my muscles were sore from the workout, my feet weren't sore at all. I am very pleased with these boots. ... show more

Definitely lightweight, coming from someone who has used them many times in the rain, light or heavy. I've already used them for a month 9+ hrs at a time. Now, with the waterproof part it does the best it can based on the amount of rain throughout the day. Nice grip up and down stairs in rain good ankel padding.
