I wear a 5 and the 5 fit my foot nicely with a thick sock. The boots look just like the photo. Unfortunately the shaft of the boot around the ankles is stiff and awkward, and the laces are placed so that the top lace is unanchored and slips off the tongue. I returned them and because of their excellent customer service I got the hiking shoes to avoid the ankle issue, and they're great! The 5.5 seems true to size or a little roomy but a hiking sock fixes that. They are fairly lightweight and have good grip. I wear them to walk every day, they're very comfortable. I recommend the hiking shoes over the boot, they'll also be useful year round and more versatile than boots.

These boots are amazing. I power walk at least 7 miles a day and they are lightweight weight yet warm and great in cold wet weather! For the price I was very surprised how great of a product these are. I highly recommend these awesome boots.

I ordered a 9 1/2 thinking that the boot may have been Nira, but they are not. They are wide and these are large enough for me to put on some thick winter socks. The appearance is great, I love the color very neutral for me. They are pure to be very stable. I love the bottom with the grips. Really good for rainy weather as well as snow. Definitely a great value for me, i great bargain. I love the way the top of the boot fits my ankle, really snug and the material is well padded and soft.

Great boots & look good on - just as pictured. I’m comfortably a women’s 9, but they were way too long for me. I still gave 5-stars because the company was so easy to work with in free returns of the size 9s and then ordering 8.5s! Tried these 8.5s, with socks plus thick boot socks on, out on a hilly, wet, leaf covered trail and I felt secure on my hike. Traction, ankle support! Feet stayed dry but I wasn’t in actively rainy weather. Will update if they don’t stay dry in pouring rain. Would definitely buy again…I just suggest a 1/2 size smaller than your usual.

These are the most lightweight, comfortable boots I’ve ever tried! I walk a lot and these are so lightweight for a winter boot! Other winter boots soles are so heavy that they start to tire you out but these don’t. I walk further and longer. Loved so much came back and got another pair. They do run 1/2 size larger than your regular size so do size down.

These definitely run big - I'm usually a 6 in boots but a 5 fit perfectly even with thicker socks (and I have a wider foot) - so I would consider sizing down. With that being said, I still love these boots. They are warm and keep my toes warm (I was a lot of circulation issues and lose feeling in my toes VERY easily). They are also very sturdy (so far at least) - I've hiked with them and worn them walking on the road when I walk my dogs for the last week or so and I have no concerns about them holding up with the wear and tear.

I have not tried outside for warmth but the boot felt comfortable when I tried it on and has ample room room for wide feet - both were my deciding factors when purchasing. But like other reviews said, it runs large. I wear an 8 shoe and 8 1/2 boot. I ordered this boot in size 8, after reading reviews, and it’s still too long. I am deciding whether to keep it or return and order 7 1/2.
