I bought this mainly because I've already got a pile of Dewalt 20V batteries from other tools, so not having to buy into another battery system was a big selling point. Been using it for about three months now on my own cars and helping out a few friends. Battery Compatibility is Clutch: Works great with my DCB205 batteries. Just pops right on like any other Dewalt tool. If you're already in the Dewalt ecosystem, this makes a lot of sense. Just remember - no battery included, so factor that in if you don't already have one. Speed Range Does the Job: The 3-speed settings cover what you need. Low speed is good for applying wax without slinging it everywhere. Middle speed handles most polishing work. High speed gets aggressive when you need to tackle oxidation or heavier correction. It's not infinitely variable, but honestly the three preset speeds handle everything I've thrown at it. Actually Comfortable to Use: At 2.3 lbs, this thing is legitimately light. I can work on a whole car without my arms getting tired. The rubber grip feels secure even when your hands get a bit sweaty. It's small enough that I can get into tight spots around mirrors and trim that bigger polishers can't reach. Works Beyond Just Cars: I've used it on my car paint obviously, but also cleaned up some scratched stainless steel appliances and brought back the shine on my garage floor epoxy. The variety of pads they include means you can tackle different surfaces without buying extra stuff right away. The Kit is Legit: They really load you up with accessories - multiple foam pads, wool pads, bonnets, even sandpaper for more aggressive work. The carry bag keeps everything organized, which I appreciate. The gloves and apron are basic but functional. Only thing missing is polish or compound, but that's expected. Couple Minor Things: It's not going to replace a full-size dual-action polisher for serious paint correction work. And battery life depends on what speed you're running - high speed drains it faster than I'd like. Keep a spare battery charged if you're doing a whole vehicle. Worth It? If you've got Dewalt batteries already, this is a no-brainer. Solid build, good power for the size, and you get a ton of accessories to start with. Great for weekend detailing or light professional work.

Just recieved today and I couldnt wait to try it. I am a professional detailer with over 30 years of experience in the industry. I have mixed feeling about this unit, so here goes: 1. I really like that its very light weight and I polished my entire car without any arm fatigue. I could have probably done a couple more vehicles. 2. I like that it came with every pad you could use. Came with polishing, waxing, compounding and microfiber bonets. Even came with some grits of sanding discs. 3. I like that its compatible with Dewalt 20v batteries, which is great because i didnt need to spend money on expensive batteries. I have several batteries. 4. Came with a storage bag, an apron and the backing plate to attach the pads. Things I didnt like 1. Its very light weight so I had to put extra pressure when polishing. With my Rupes Bigfoot, its a heavier unit so the polisher does alot of the work for you. (THIS IS GOOD AND BAD) 2. It feels cheap and not sure how long it will last. 3. The storage bag is very cheap and ripped the first tine i used it. 4. The included pads are very cheap and I was only able to get 1 vehicle out of several of them. A good pad should last for several vehicles or more. So over all I think for the price its not bad, but there are definitely better polishers on the market, but they are much more expensive.

Keep in mind this does not come with the battery but rather takes DeWalt and aftermarket won't compatible batteries. I have both types and they both work with this buffer. The battery is fit well, nice and snug. The included attachments and buffing pads etc are appreciate it, and they'll do the job, though I wouldn't call them the best quality overall, but still good enough to get you started. The buffer works well, it's operates smooth, I don't really have any problems with the performance, but the build quality is somewhat lacking. I do understand this is a budget cordless buffer/polisher, but I also have other similar ones that are just made better in the same price range. That doesn't mean this is going to fail, and for the price I think it's a fair deal. So I'm giving it three stars, I wish it was just manufactured a little bit better with a little bit thicker plastics and that it felt a little more solid. Still $50 doesn't get you much these days and so I have to give it three stars because it does what it's supposed to do.

This kit really impressed me with how many useful accessories it comes with. Having a good variety of pads right out of the box makes it easy to swap between different tasks without having to order extra pieces right away. It feels like a complete package instead of just the bare tool. The buffer itself runs smoothly and the 6-inch size is a sweet spot for most jobs. Being cordless makes it so much easier to maneuver around a car or workspace without dragging a cord across the paint. The compatibility with common batteries is also a huge plus, since it means I did not need to buy a separate power system. Overall, it is a well-rounded kit that feels beginner friendly but still solid enough for more serious use. With all the accessories included, it is ready to go as soon as you pop in a battery. Definitely a fun and useful addition to the garage setup.

I must say what I love most about this is it works with all my DeWALT tool batteries. The tool itself is lightweight and easy to handle depending on the size battery in it. The selection of included pads Is complete for any task to get started with any project you have. The Velcro Hook N Loop is strong on the tool and should last a very long time. My only con is the included Bag for the tool will hold the tool and a few pads and that is it. The outside pockets are too small for accessories yet alone if you wanted to put polishes with it as a kit. All in all the tool with all 3 speeds work as described and is a solid 4 out of 5.
