This is a good solid steel toe boot, though it is made from a material that causes my foot to sweat and heat up easily. They are surprisingly lightweight given the steel toe construction, and pretty comfortable on the foot. They do fit true to size, so recommend getting your actual size. The shoelaces are sturdy and don't come undone easily. The height is a little weird, feels like they should be either shorter or taller, the back hits the back of my ankle uncomfortably sometimes when I walk

I need a pair of safety boots for my job. I'm consistently entering into construction zones and I need to be able to do my job by having the right equipment. At first the boots need to be broken in. That only took a few days. Now they fit great and are comfortable. I like the tread because they are non-slip. The value for the money was great. They were very affordable. I like that they are waterproof and durable.

I got these because I am required to wear steel-toed shoes one the shop floor at work and my old shoes have seen better days. One thing to consider is that these shoes do not list any ASTM/OSHA/ANSI certifications on the box, shoe, or any other materials included with the shoes. Often, when a company requires protective footwear, the shoes must meet certain industry safety standards. Usually, this information can be found on the box, the shoe itself, or on a tag affixed to the shoes. These do not display this information anywhere, so - you may want to check with your company before purchasing these for use at work or risk being in violation of your company's requirements. The shoes appear to be well-made and are reasonably comfortable. I've worn them every day for several weeks and have not had an issue with any significant hot-points or abrasions on my feet. They are also relatively lightweight when compared with my old shoes. They are also considerably less expensive than the name-brand shoes I usually purchase. One thing I don't particularly like (personal preference) is the high-top construction. At my age, I am not as flexible and find the high-tops more difficult to tie up. Otherwise, the shoes have performed well. They have had no difficulty on slippery surfaces, have suffered no scuffs on the toes (something my name-brand shoes are prone to) and have been reasonably flexible in the soles. One thing I have noticed is that these do not seem to breathe as well as my old shoes, but that is likely due to the higher resistance to water. Overall, these are a good choice as long as you don't need them to meet a specific safety standard.

I really like these boots. Comfortable, durable. They have a nice tread on the bottom, not slippy, but also not sticky. Love the classic military black look. And they're waterproof. Very pleased with these boots.

The media could not be loaded. I am a delivery driver who wears a uniform and has a dress code. My boots need to be brown or black with polishable leather uppers. Also, they need to be slip resistant. I have always worn Timberlands for work because they are lightweight and comfortable. I like to stick with what I know. This is my first time trying any other brand boot. I only ordered them because they were in the vine program and I was due for a new pair. I'm so glad I did. I walk over 20,000 steps a day on asphalt, concrete, dirt, grass, rocks, and shells and go up and down a lot of steps. My boots are an important accessory for my job. I ordered the size 9 US, and it is true to size. They fit perfectly and are comfortable. These boots are a little heavier than my others because of the steel toe but not super heavy. I've never wore steel toe boots to work because I was afraid of the weight, but it's really not that heavy. The steel toe will help protect my feet if a dog decides to attack me and bite my foot. This does happen, especially when delivering in rural areas like farms or houses on the backroads. These boots do keep my feet dry during rain storms. Even when they get wet, they do seem to be great for slip resistance. Sometimes sealed, stamped concrete can get slippery when wet. I've had no issues with these boots slipping. Since I got these boots, I haven't worn any of my others. Although my other boots are waterproof, my feel would still get damp. Like any boots, you do need to break these in. They felt a little stiff at first, but by the end of one day delivering, they were already broken in. I've only had these for a few weeks. I will try to update this review in 6 months. The 6th month mark is usually when it's time for a new pair with my job. I would order these again. I like that they match my uniform so nicely.
