There are a lot of these out there on the market it's very hard to tell which ones are legitimate. Which have steel toes? Well none of them should because they make them out of composite now. Which ones are truly waterproof? The rubber shoes could be but definitely the leather ones but you don't want to be getting leather wet these are a nice combination of both how durable they are it's too early to tell a shoe like this should last at least 2 years and should usually cost about $100 at the least. Especially if they are made out of leather. This came with enough padding and the soles for me to not have to insert additional padding. The only drawback to slip on boots is that if you are prone to swelling feet and you won't be able to get them on. The opening don't stretch enough for larger feet. They appear wide but inside they're normal width. These are leather but they're the thinnest grade . It appears as those sewn into the soul and bonded with glue which would make a very reliable waterproof seal, extending the boots life expectancy.

I'm comparing this pair of boots with some Caterpillar boots I've had for about a year or so. I've been using these for a couple of weeks. Both are steel toes, both are wide, as I have wide feet (EE), and both are 13. I wanted to try something that was easy to put on/off when the situation allowed. These are a thin but rigid leather with a thin cloth lining, so my feet aren't sweating in them. The steel toes are as expected, and the exterior finish seems like they're almost water proof. When I use them around water nothing seems to penetrate. They go on easy enough and come off with about the same effort. Once they're on they aren't coming off easy, but my foot does move around in them more than the Cats, but I haven't had any blisters. There's also a little bit of pressure on the outer side of the toe box. It's not enough to hurt, but I notice it. I think that will go away after a while. The bad: You need a decent amount of space on the opening to get your foot inside these, and that means it's always going to be open at the ankle more than a lace-up boot. This allows dirt and sawdust (in my shop) to drop in there sometimes, and you get all the issues that come with that. When walking in them they don't work like a regular boot or shoe that flexes at the sole, because it's not wrapped as tightly around your foot. So it feels little like a heavy duty flip-flop, except , of course, your foot is totally enclosed and protected (stiff leather and steel toe). Since there's a cloth lining and that's all, there also is no firm support, like interior padding or foam around the foot to make the boot fit firmer. If the bad is ok, then this may work for you. It's a good, well made boot with good leather, sole, and water resistance. Getting in and out of them can be an advantage, so if that's worth more to you than a job site work boot, this will work.

As the headline states: Great Looking Boots... But Run Way Too Small I love the look of the boots and could wear them as dress boots. I wear 10.5 and ordered 10.5 as usually work boots run large, but unfortunately this boot size runs way too small. If I had to order again I'd try 11.5.

I have a hard time bending over due to a condition so I really like the slip-on. I'm still breaking it in, but it does help. I got size 12, which I typically wear, and they fit well. I could have possibly gone a half or a size larger, but the 12 does work fine. Since they are rather heavy and slip-on, I do think I prefer this better fit than something that's too large. I do have wider feet and usually have issues with shoes at first, and these aren't an exception to that but it has been better than most. Even so it's already started to get better as my feet get used to the boots and the boots get used to my feet. I've been wearing them a little over two weeks now. I really like their appearance, and they seem to be very sturdy and well made.

My husband isn't exactly a fan of steel toe work boots, but there are definitely times when he needs to wear them, like when he’s using chainsaws or cutting down trees. So, I decided to pick up a pair of these waterproof safety construction boots for him. He usually wears a size 12 or 13, so I went with a size 13. He really appreciated that these boots are easy to slip on; he didn't have to struggle to get his foot in at all. The elastic sides stretch nicely, and he was pleasantly surprised by how lightweight they are for steel toe boots. Plus, he actually likes how they look. Now, he’s a guy who prefers wide box running shoes and other boots, so there was a bit of rubbing where the rubber and leather meet on his left foot. After about 25 minutes of walking, though, he didn’t notice any blistering or redness on his fourth and fifth toes, just the slight annoyance from the seam. He did mention that if he wore shorter socks, it might rub against his shin a bit, but with taller socks, it was perfectly fine. If he has to wear steel-toed boots, he said he would definitely want a pair of these. For the price, they’re a great option, especially for someone who isn't a fan of heavy leather steel toe boots.

These still toe work boots are very comfortable to wear all day. There are an easy slip on and have ample room to maneuver, your foot into it. they are very well put together with a heavy stitching. The soles are a nice thickness and are nonslip. If you step on anything in a construction site it’s not gonna go through the soul of this boot. It is made of a soft leather, that is easy to clean and buff back up. They are not too heavy so you are not dragging your feet around all day. They look nice and are very waterproof. So if you’re working in a damp muddy environment, your feet are going to stay dry. They are very well worth the price for the quality of these steel toed boots.
